Self-Sovereign Identity
Campaign Brief
Catalyst Project by its Fund 6 and Fund 7 has promoted projects that push adoption of the Decentralized Identity and Atala Prism SDK. Additionally, a first cohort was part of the Atala PRISM Pioneer Program and a second one is ready to start.
The amount and quality of projects proposed so far and the involvement of the community in the matters of Decentralized Identity are clear indicators that Cardano is ready to make the big move to cope with all aspects of the Self-Sovereign Identity ecosystem.
This challenge is looking for projects that help position Cardano as one of the leaders in the SSI space. With a broader scope than past challenges, we expect this one to tackle all layers defined by the Trust over IP Foundation.

Receiving high quality projects; growing participation on SSI discussions; partnering with ecosystem, governance and working groups
Key Metrics to measure
- The number of proposals that directly address SSI in a quantifiable manner
- The quality of proposals measured by community interest and engagement
- Awareness of Cardano inside the SSI community, working groups and governance entities

Solution: A community with users identified by SSIDs share the content they find reliable - this way creating publishers lists that are trustworthy
Trust Registry with Smart Contract
Solution: TrustRegistryを記述したスマートコントラクトテンプレートを定義する。レジストリのDIDはVCを発行する権利を持つ。結果：VCとVC発行者の検証を行う。
Trusted endorsements for the web
Solution: A DID-based endorsement system with trust-badges that can be embedded in websites and cryptographically traced back to the source via PRISM.
Traveller ID Ecosystem
Solution: Decentralised traveller ID gives travellers control over their data, and hotels a peer-to-peer connection with travellers
The Workers Protocol (WP)
Solution: WP collects all metrics of workers and compiles them into a worker’s SSI profile enabling them to quantify & leverage their accomplishments.

Standard SSI templates library
Solution: We propose to create a library of standard templates for SSI related objects that can be integrated with and used by SSI platforms and tools

SSI for Coffee in East Africa
Solution: Build an SSI Tool to quality assess the middlemen on Atala Prism. Make a "Michelin Star" rating to restore purchasing power to the farmers
RootsWallet - Support for sidetree
Solution: We will continue improving our Open Source RootsWallet by adding interoperability with sidetree-cardano Decentralized Identity method.
Promote PRISM in Switzerland

NFT - Proof of Authenticity
Solution: With SSI and DID, a provably verified artist can stamp an NFT with a certificate to prove its origin, its authenticity, and a set of rights.
NEURALPRINT: Neural ID's & NFT's
Solution: A neural fingerprint & digital twin: Contextual mapping of dynamic brain signatures, paired with decentralized neural keys and credentialing
KYC Credentials PoC
Solution: Integrate a credential issuer with a reliable KYC verification service provider to deliver a reusable KYC Credential to users.
Immigration Documents On Chain
Solution: Immigration documents, and their data, are placed on chain, confirmed, and eventually deleting leaving only credentials behind.
Green Yoma - SSI SDG Marketplace
Solution: Integrate current Hyperledger Aries/Indy stack with Atala Prism to expose youth to the Cardano ecosystem and related projects (MoE).

Solution: Integrate ID Providers (e.g. Onfido) to issue PRISM VCs so unique ID check gets bound to DID & published as token for use in smart contract.
