Adagov is currently assembling information about Project Catalyst timelines, proposals, campaigns and funds.

We propose extending this data to include treasury funds, number of wallets voting and information extracted from official documents and from the multitude of sources.

Who is it for?
The information is from the those who see truth about Cardano - especially non-power users who wish to query and search with a couple of clicks. It can be used by proposers to identify overlooked ideas and proposals and understand why they may not have come to fruition as well as by auditors to quickly retrieve and pull data.
Why is it important?
Historically funding systems have been brought to the brink by the inability of stakeholders and participants to agree on what is the truth. This project will bring this information to the fore and make it easily accessible to all.
Key Metrics We Will Measure
We will focus on these key Challenge criteria:
- Ease of access to information about the Cardano treasury and its funds, treasury disbursement (in relation to Project Catalyst).
- Historical transactions (in relation of Project Catalyst) can be easily identified.
- New sources and repositories of information are developed containing timelines for Cardano projects.
Timelines
- 1 Month - Extract and clean existing data.
- 3 Months - Create a pipeline so this extraction can occur semi-automatically or automatically.
- 6 Months - Continue to aggregate and standardise Catalyst data. Our goal: A 15+ contributors to the data, backups and version control and a number of integrations.
Intellectual Property
All data will be available open source and retrievable in flat-file formats.
Funds
We're requesting
- $5,000 for data extraction and cleaning.
- $10,000 pipeline development (coding, automated services)
- $10,000 integration support into other systems. (API, service fees etc.)
Launch Date
We operate under the continuous integration and development process. You will be able to see the progress of our work at any time via <http://data.adagov.org> which means we're launched already. We expect to finalise the project in 5 months to a semi-automated process (fully automated if possible).
