Campaign Brief
Creatives, writers, artists, filmmakers, photographers +more, collaborating equitably, can enrich the ecosystem with their cultural diversity.
Cardano has a strong YouTube community, but obviously YouTube is not everything and it's not received well in many perspectives.
We need a bridge between YouTube, the traditional media, TV and film.
We need to communicate a clear message towards media.
It's crucial to create educational and inspiring content which the national media and TV stations would gladly use in their daily programmes.
In this early stage, the cooperation between YouTubers and TV & Film professionals is not only welcomed, it's needed.
Creating a specific challenge for this should open the gates for both education and inspiration.
The Film and Media (FAM) Challenge aims to boost knowledge and adoption of Cardano for global audiences by enabling:
a challenge platform for the facilitation of professionals and creatives to connect, collaborate and coordinate
the launch of projects that spotlight the multitude of stories within the Cardano ecosystem
multimedia projects that illustrate how Cardano's blockchain is the 'green blockchain' solution in a world that needs solutions to the climate emergency
A dedicated challenge category for this creative group to platform their catalysing ideas has been absent thus far.
This has led to potentially impactful projects struggling to find their place in Challenge categories that are not quite the 'right fit'.
The FAM challenge category can unlock a flow of submission of ideas and proposals that bring about high quality, educational and inspirational multi-lingual multi-media content.
Content that helps build bridges within the Cardano ecosystem and across multi sectoral ecosystems, globally.
So FAM creatives, in all corners of the world, step up.
You are the ones we have been waiting for.

What does success look like?
Teams collaborating equitably to produce inclusive, high quality multimedia content + platforms = increase knowledge + adoption of Cardano
Key Metrics to measure
As a measure of the health of the ecosystem:
- of multimedia projects
- of multimedia platforms
- of multilingual teams
- of decentralised film crews
- of decentralised news teams
- of decentralised content creation teams
- of decentralised multimedia projects sharing resources (eg RAW footage) to avoid unnecessary costs and CO2 emissions from travelling to shoot footage on site
Youth user generated content
Solution: Educate youth on the basics of the blockchain via experiential learning videos, and build user generated content from like minded youth.
Wada documentary
Solution: Documentary about Wada journey will describe their projects and achievements in Africa. All in one single programme.
Tunisian Video Creation for N-A
Solution: Educational content (videos and articles) shared with the community that is customized to cater to the different cultures limits barriers.
The Creators Story NFTs
Solution: We have various proposals in this funding round. We will document how they progress to reality and how we interact with content creators.
Theatre For Change
Solution: Using Theatre in Education as an alternative medium to promote and create awareness of Cardano Blockchain Technology to Second Cycle Schools
Short educational series
Solution: We will create a short educational series to be shown in regional (german) TV, Youtube, TikTok & other social media, containing calculations
Permaculture & Blockchain: YouTube
Solution: A video series that explores the commonalities between permaculture & emerging blockchain technologies to propose "the decentralized state".
NFT Devs Bridge to Project Catalyst
Solution: I will host twenty, half hour live streams with NFT creators / developers who are seeking funding through Project Catalyst in Fund 9
Monaco Streaming Film Festival 2022
Solution: We will create a Film showing all the use-cases & benefits of Cardano for the public & businesses & show it in the Streaming Film Festival.
MLabs - "The Universal Joint"
Solution: Create a decentralized, multimedia studio focused on helping teams share their journey building and the issues they consider crucial.
MAKE CONTENT MORE FUN TO LEARN EASY
Solution: Whiteboard vlog series to help adopters understand easier with analogies, stories, and examples
Keeping Up with Cardano: 100 videos
Solution: We will use live video interviews with the founders of the projects at Cardano, explaining in a friendly way the project and its features.
Japanese Cardano Master Class
Solution: Produce a Master Class video in Japanese that introduces blockchain and crypto fundamentals, before showcasing what Cardano has to offer.
Humble Records UBI Music Collective
Solution: Release outstanding music and art whilst incorporating UBI via the inherent automation of blockchain. Publicize said endeavors via press.
Give Maasai Pastoralists DiD
Solution: Make a short documentary film highlighting the plight of pastoralist marginalized peoples in Kenya and Tanzania
DUB popular ADA Video for the World
Solution: We would develop infrastructure to translate DUB open source Cardano content into many different languages so more people can learn about it
Documentary: South America
Solution: Create a documentary showing Project Catalyst’s positive impact in South America and depict its potential global impact as a tool for change
DLT360: Industry Onboarding Videos
Solution: Our Fund 7-funded industry onboarding and presentation environment will be complemented by short, exciting and target-group-focused videos
Decentralized Cinema Festival
Solution: Decentralized cinema festival where people buy an NFT ticket that gives them the right to vote for the winners and participate in the event
Checkpoint Learning and Media
Solution: Implementing an already existing independent media and education platform to the Cardano blockchain.
CaricatorADA (CaricatureADA)
Solution: A weekly caricature representing the weekly video of Charles Hoskinson
Cardano's Footprint in Ethiopia
Solution: Having a documentary that tells the educational journey of an Ethiopian will provide the importance of Cardano's solution.
Cardano on PBS, Project Development
Solution: Early-stage development of television projects focused on Cardano that are well-suited for the Public Broadcasting System (PBS) and others.
Cardano Community Podcasts & YT
Solution: The aim is to create a Cardano-themed series of podcasts covering Cardano basics, interviews, project reviews and news from ADA-world.
