Detailed Plan
Cardano smart contracts are fairly new and so DAO tooling is limited (even multisigs do not have mature tooling yet). However, through Milkomeda, DAOs can be launched using the mature EVM-based ecosystem. On top of being the authors of Milkomeda, we're also launching an EVM-based DAO ourselves for Milkomeda and so we can leverage our experience on top of the blockchain domain expertise to help others launch their DAO under the scope of a virtual hackathon.
The funds will be used for the prize pool for the hackathon and Milkomeda will cover the other costs associated with holding the event (we will only use at most 5K from the budget for event-related expenses)
If funded, the event will take place in the first half of 2022
