Synura

Golden Synura cling together by their backsides, forming colonies that look like microscopic chrysanthemums. Even more hardy than a basket of autumn ‘mums, Synura colonies survive harsh seasons by forming a silica cyst, which have left tiny floral footprints in the fossil record.
