We will integrate our the platform with all third party Cardano Wallets including eternl, gero yoroi, nami, and typhon wallet. Additional wallets will be supported as they come online.

Problem:

All dapps need to have easy connection to all third party non-custodial wallets. While CIP-30 exists, implementing an easy to use layer on top of this with React would be useful to other dev teams.

The benefits of our open-source wallet connector will be given directly to the entire Cardano Ecosystem to make it even more accessible for all dapps to connect with all third-party wallets. This also reduces time to market and expands the user base of all projects.

[IMPACT] Please describe how your proposed solution will address the Challenge that you have submitted it in.

Having a standard wallet connector which makes it easy to connect with preexisting wallets in the market will reduce the friction of the Cardano Ecosystem. Therefore, it directly supports dapps and their integration in our ecosystem.

[IMPACT] What are the main risks that could prevent you from delivering the project successfully and please explain how you will mitigate each risk?

This project has very low risk. CIP-30 has been implemented several times by many dApps out there. This project is adding a React layer on top of CIP-30 to make it even easier for future dApp teams to implement.

Milestone 1: Implement CIP-30 as a React component

Milestone 2: Internally audit the code and provide example implementations

Yes - Maintaining the wallet connect will require continued capital and time. It is important that key pieces of infrastructure is up to date and able to connect with all existing and potential future wallets that are found in the Cardano Ecosystem. As additional wallets come online, they will need to be supported by the component.
