Solution

Develop a blockchain application that allows storing patient and physician information. The blockchain's own encryption provides a high level of security against theft, manipulation or cyber attacks.

Problem:

The idea is to use blockchain to allow patients and doctors to relate directly to each other and close deals, without there being a central entity managing the care service.

[IMPACT] Please describe your proposed solution.

The encryption inherent in a blockchain provides a high level of security. As a result, sensitive user information (such as medical history) is shielded from theft, manipulation or cyber attacks by third parties, as it does not exist centrally in any database.

The decentralization model of DApps offers certain advantages over traditional centralized applications. For example, its operation does not depend on central entities, so it is less vulnerable to possible failures in servers or data centers, and since the elements of the application are distributed in a blockchain, the users themselves have access to its content transparently and can participate in the process of verifying its authenticity, making it difficult for any malicious agent to attack the network. Furthermore, the decentralization of the system makes it extremely difficult for its content to be censored or restricted by companies or the government.

Using the Blockchain ensures a robust environment, fewer failures, users of the system have transparent access to information. Anyone can participate and verify the information.

The proposal seeks to give an answer on universal patient information, which allows to be checked by any doctor.

It is the democratization of health, which saves time in diagnosis, treatment and care.

The code of these decentralized applications can be publicly reviewed on the blockchain, and every action performed is permanently recorded in the blockchain blocks.

All stakeholders involved in the health system will be involved:

· Medical product suppliers.

· Pharmaceuticals.

· Health institutions.

The project will be implemented in stages. For the Cardano ecosystem, it represents an opportunity to participate in the university healthcare market by offering innovative solutions for patient information.

The technological solution is aimed at the public and private healthcare system.

As a patient history software, it will increase the number of potential users using the Cardano ecosystem.

[IMPACT] Please describe how your proposed solution will address the Challenge that you have submitted it in.

In stages. I have the technological solution in a working prototype, the idea is to take it to the platform.

To do this, I need to hire some developers and conduct courses for the team to take ownership of the technology.

The first thing to do is to gather information.

Establish functional and non-functional requirements.

Hire the developers.

Define the phases of development.

Conduct courses in the handling of the plutus and haskell language.

Distribute the flow of money during the project.

Share results with the community.

Provide audit report.

[IMPACT] What are the main risks that could prevent you from delivering the project successfully and please explain how you will mitigate each risk?

In a global economic system that we are immersed in, problems such as war conflicts like Ukraine - Russia, pandemic, etc., can affect the world economy and affect cryptoassets, i.e. the virtual currency loses value. The fall of Bitcoin is no secret to anyone.

The smart thing to do is to take refuge in solid currencies or minerals such as gold, diamonds, iron, etc. This guarantees the flow of money and protects against speculative processes and inflation.

[FEASIBILITY] Please provide a detailed plan, including timeline and key milestones for delivering your proposal.

02 Plutus and Haskell expert programmers.

01 server configuration specialist.

01 Transcriber to document the proposal.

The first two months to develop the applications and the third month to start with the verifications and validations of the software, as well as its documentation.

[FEASIBILITY] Please provide a detailed budget breakdown.

[FEASIBILITY] If you are funded, will you return to Catalyst in a later round for further funding? Please explain why / why not.

Of course it is. It is necessary to consolidate the software proposal.

[AUDITABILITY] Please describe what you will measure to track your project's progress, and how will you measure these?

I plan to use the XP methodology, extreme programming that focuses on product development.

[AUDITABILITY] What does success for this project look like?

I envision an impact on the real-time management of patient records in my country. Promoting the use of the Cardano platform in the public and private health system.

[AUDITABILITY] Please provide information on whether this proposal is a continuation of a previously funded project in Catalyst or an entirely new one.
