The goal is to support the development of the Positiveblockchain platform in its quest to map the Blockchain for Good space, and bring the Cardano impact projects to the open access, database and platform.
This proposal seeks funding to support a project that will help bring projects from the Cardano ecosystem to the Positiveblockchain directory (creating verified and quality entries to the directory). This will expose the Cardano 4 Good ecosystem to a broader audience, and enable a myriad of opportunities, such as those that can come about from collaboration and cross fertilisation with other Blockchain for Good projects.
This proposal will also support development costs to integrate new features in the platform for the Cardano project owners (such as claiming and editing their project pages) so that we can ensure ownership and maintain up-to-date data on the directory.
Cardano and Sustainable ADA would be presented on the website as partners of Positiveblockchain and core data contributors.
The proposed solution will contain the following:
- Add Cardano projects in the Positiveblockchain directory by collecting data and recording it (2000$)
- Main data: project title, description, website, category, sub-category, technology used, consensus, year creation, SDGs, headquarter
- Additional data (when available): organization type, implementation countries, social media, long description, founders, diversity & female founders, token name
- Fund development costs of Positiveblockchain focusing on following features (4000$)
- Claim Now functionality, User Account management, User Verification flow, User Dashboard screens, Project Edit functionality
- Ensure onboarding of Cardano projects in the Positiveblockchain directory by active community management, reach-out, incentives or awards (2000$)
It is difficult to identify and follow the development of projects leveraging the Cardano technologies in the areas of social and environmental good, broadly speaking in the SDGs.
Positiveblockchain has already established since 2018 the largest, if not one of the largest, and highest quality directory of projects active in this area - 1200 entries and counting.
Positiveblockchain is trying to make its platform more user friendly with new features both for users and project owners.
The Cardano projects are not or not well identified/recorded and therefore not visible to broad audiences out there. It would be relevant as various ecosystem participants use the Positiveblockchain database for market or academic research, collaboration, benchmarking or funding, such as BlockchainforGood, Celo, blockchain4good alliance, Ethereum Foundation to name a few.
As Positiveblockchain is a directory of projects across multiple blockchain technologies and environments, the project will help foster visibility of Cardano to other players and enable more (crosschain) collaborations.
Difficulties to identify all Cardano impact projects -> use social media, communities, campaign approach to identify them.
Lack of developer resources at Positiveblockchain for a timely implementation of the developed features —> will source capacity in the Cardano4Climate and Cardano Collective for Impact Network.

Positiveblockchain is a non-profit association exploring the potential of blockchain technologies for social and environmental impact through its open database, knowledge platform and global community. The mission of the association is to build the web of knowledge and support collaboration for technology and social impact enthusiasts looking to leverage blockchain technologies for the U.N. SDGs. Cardano4Climate (C4C) community includes over 200 members and growing. C4C is organising weekly meetups and monthly events and collaborating with multiple impact communities (i.e. climateneutralcardano.org), companies (i.e. Veritree, Cardashift) and the Cardano companies (IOG, Emurgo, Cardano Foundation).
Sustainable ADA team is focusing on educational services, research and communication of impact projects on the Cardano blockchain, spreading the word of the work and impact of the Cardano ecosystem.

Progress reports and reviews will be made publicly accessible in a Google folder.
- 50 projects identified and listed on the PB platform
- PB platform features implemented
- 40% of project owners having claimed their project page on PB
