In fund 7 we got funding through our proposal Spread Plutus in Africa ( <https://cardano.ideascale.com/a/dtd/Spread-Plutus-through-Africa/381332-48088> ) and Clubs + Hackathon = Cardano Adoption (https://cardano.ideascale.com/a/dtd/DLT-adoption-via-clubs+hackathons/381318-48088) to support Wada Cameroon Hub Education initiative. We are now seeking to leverage the content we have been creating in order to create French material for our Francophone audience. We will also be running quarterly hackathon sessions and the documentation we produce will be translated as well. We intend to hire a professional translator to help us to this job as it will considerably speed up our task and help reach our goals faster.

Making our training material available in French will definitely help scale up Wada education initiative by facilitating the on-boarding process of French speaking devs.

We do not foresee any risks in implementing and delivering this proposal given that we will be leveraging the material (in English) that we are already producing through our funded proposals mentioned above.

Our strategy can be divided in the following steps:
- Step one will focus on securing the services of a professional translator after our curriculum (developed through our funded proposal) is completed
- Step two will consist of translating all the curriculum material in French
- Step three is about curating the material making sure to adjust it to the blockchain context and publishing it

- Number of documents / commits published on git hub on a weekly basis
- Number of Haskell material (video, text, audio) translated into French
- Number of Plutus material (video, text, audio) translated into French

Success to us will consist of the following items
- 01 French Haskell curriculum ready to be taught throughout Wada network of hubs
- 01 French Plutus curriculum ready to be taught throughout Wada network of hubs
- Bilingual material (French, English) for our hackathon sessions
- 21+ French speaking developers actively using the material to learn Haskell / Plutus within the first 6 months after publication

This proposal could be qualified as an extension to our funded proposals in fund 7 Spread Plutus in Africa ( <https://cardano.ideascale.com/a/dtd/Spread-Plutus-through-Africa/381332-48088> ) and Clubs + Hackathon = Cardano Adoption (https://cardano.ideascale.com/a/dtd/DLT-adoption-via-clubs+hackathons/381318-48088). We intend to reinforce our translation capacities so that we could optimize our time focusing on creating material in one Language and getting help translate it into other languages in parallel.
