Close the sustainability finance gap, by equipping NGOs, and impact organisations with web3 tools, to help accelerate and measure their positive impact.

<u>Pre-Funding Activity </u>

We Have Already Demonstrated the Proof of Concept with Proof of Impact Platform (PIP):

We created the PIP proof of concept thanks to our collaboration with Patrick Tobler and NMKR, using their white label studio solution for PIP, and to offer our Cardano Impact Report as a NFT, that can be minted via the website:

<u>Road to MVP:</u>

Proof of Impact Platform (PIP) is a software as a service (SaaS) solution, aiming to help people support the causes and actions carried out by grassroots communities, activists, NGOs, and impact associations.

The primary products are an easy-to-use web app to upload Impact KPI data. Along with a Cardano-powered platform that enables individuals and organizations to support NGOs and impact associations, join a community via Domino DAO, and get rewarded for their actions.

PIP will use Cardano's tools, and related technologies to capture and showcase the reported and proven impact of NGOs, and associations, through purchasable Art as Activism pieces (Proof of Impact NFTs). Each art piece shall contain metadata connecting users to evidence of the positive impact they have contributed towards.

Impact Data Submission Portal:

• Companies and projects can create a portfolio and choose the Impact criteria connected to their project.
• They then can submit their monthly or quarterly impact data points through the data submission page on the portal.
• Once the data is submitted it is sent and stored in the Impact Database.

Impact Database:

• This is where the data is stored. Each Impact project will have its own cluster of data.
• The data stored in the database is then used to calculate the impact statistics.
• Once calculated this information is represented in the NGOs/user dashboard.

Example: Impact Data Dashboard for Rimba:

• The NGO Impact Dashboard will be connected to the Art Proof of Impact NFTs through the metadata on-chain
• The dashboard will also act as a place for users to support Rimba (e.g Purchasing a Rimba art piece by minting a Proof of Impact NFT) get an NFT, and follow their impact journey by receiving updates

By developing these components we are going to move from Proof of Impact Platform Proof of Concept to a complete MVP.

The goal of the proposal is to enhance, test, and expand this work so we can scale Impact Web3 and PIP.

This will enable us to onboard more organizations globally to Cardano and web3.

We have been very busy at both Impact Web3 and Sustainable ADA. Over the past four years, we have been creating partnerships and developing relationships to assemble the puzzle pieces, and help grow and develop a Sustainable Blockchain ecosystem and community.

From all of our research, evaluation, and learning we have set ourselves up for the next steps in our journey.

We were funded in Fund 10 to support Rimba NGO on their digital transformation with novel finance streams for their operations, through the sale of Proof of Impact NFTs.

We are using the data from the feasibility study to help finalize our PIP model. We will be using Rimba's Impact Data and displaying it in a dashboard.

• This will enable project supporters to review their Impact Data from their public dashboard.
• This will be stored in the metadata of the NFTs.

We have been very busy at both Impact Web3 and Sustainable ADA. Over the last three years, we have been creating partnerships and developing relationships to find the puzzle pieces to create the Sustainable Blockchain ecosystem and community we have been dreaming of. From all of our research, evaluation, and learning we have set ourselves up for the next step in the journey.

<u>About Impact Web3</u>

Impact Web 3 is a company that is focused on building and managing decentralized technologies that enable positive impact and sustainability initiatives. The company oversees several key projects that work together to create a more sustainable and equitable world.

One of the primary projects under Impact Web3 is the Sustainable ADA platform. This platform is built on the Cardano blockchain and is designed to facilitate sustainable education and raise awareness about blockchain4good, and especially Cardano4Good initiatives. Through Sustainable ADA, Impact Web3 was born.

The aim of creating Impact Web3 is to provide more educational content to users, and bring to life our mission of creating disruptive positive impact around the world. All of our initiatives are focused on helping show the importance of prioritizing sustainability and regenerative web3 projects that solve actual real world problems.

Another project under Impact Web3 is the Domino DAO, which is a decentralized autonomous organization that aims to promote social and environmental impact through blockchain-based governance. The DAO is designed to allow community members to take part in the work of impact evaluation. The DAO also is to help create a community of impact investors to help support impact project in the Cardano community and connect them with the evaluators and projects themselves. As an impact evaluator and DAO member, you can propose new ideas and vote on initiatives that can help the platform create greater positive change in the world.

The Proof of Impact Project (PIP) is another key initiative under Impact Web3. This project is focused on developing a platform that can verify and quantify the impact of sustainability projects, making it easier for investors and other stakeholders to assess the social and environmental impact of their investments.

This project works side by side with the Domino DAO to help connect our DAO community with an impact measurement framework, and pool of impact projects. We will be providing job opportunities and adding roles for community members who want to support or just are interested in earning a wage. By helping companies track, trace, and verify their impact.

We want the Domino DAO to be the perfect place to onboard new users to Cardano and we believe by taking the proper steps in expanding this community we will be able to effectively reach this goal. This will be an organic growth method and allow us to efficiently scale our community for success.

• Impact portfolios provide users a dashboard to follow NGOs, and Impact Associations' impact over time. Stakeholders can take part in other mechanisms like stake NFTS, receive holder rewards, and view project updates from the projects they support.

Proof of Impact NFTs

PIP's marketplace will make NFTs available for purchase. Smart contracts will automatically send funds from the sale of the NFT to the NGO's wallet, while also incentivizing users by rewarding them with platform tokens/funds for their actions and needs, that will be redeemable in the growing ecosystem of impact projects and Cardano4Good community.

Our ambitions are to overtime strengthen the relationships between ESG/impact investors and the Social and Environmental impact projects.

To bring more investment to these projects so they can sustainably scale and create greater impact. Furthermore, we can connect impact investors to the projects they want to invest in and support. We envision a model where investors input certain impact investment criteria based on their investing preferences. Then using that information, they are connected with impact projects in our ecosystem, helping impact investors make more conscious and informed investing decisions.

Our proposed solution addresses the challenge by leveraging our expertise in impact measurement and blockchain technology to create the Proof of Impact Platform (PIP).

This platform aims to revolutionize the way citizens financially and morally support grassroots activists, communities, NGOs, and impact associations.

With Catalyst funding, we will further develop the PIP platform, to be able to onboard more NGOs and impact organisations. ESG/Impact Investing Connections: The Proof of Impact Platform aims to strengthen the relationships between ESG/impact investors and social and environmental impact projects. By connecting impact investors to projects based on their investing preferences, we enable more conscious and informed investment decisions, driving more funding to impactful projects within the Cardano and blockchain for good ecosystem.

Scalability and Sustainability: This funding will enable us to develop our MVP and pilot with our partners Rimba Non Profit Organisation (France and Indonesia), and Palawan NGO Network Inc. (the Philippines) who are already partnered through the Streets of ADA - A Samsudin Brothers Projek.

PIP has the potential to scale and onboard many more users including artists, social enterprises and NGOs. We are in talks with numerous NGOs and impact associations across Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia who are exploring their digital transformation journey. This scalability contributes to the long-term sustainability of impactful projects who choose to integrate Cardano battle tested solutions.

Who is in the project team and what are their roles?

Impact Web3 &amp; Sustainable ADA

Cole Bartlett and Razali Samsudin Co-founded Sustainable ADA and Impact Web 3, and have been shaping it into what it is today.

It began with the initial idea for Sustainable ADA back on April 20th of 2021 (Sustainable ADA 2021). Together, we co-founded it in June of 2021. We have backgrounds, professional experiences, and knowledge in education, economics, sustainability, and how blockchain technologies can be harnessed for good.

Catalyst Journey:

We joined Project Catalyst, Cardano’s decentralized innovation fund, during fund 4. After applying and learning from both funds 4 and 5 along with lots of support from Cardano community members and teams, we were able to construct a strong proposal together that focused on our goals and ambitions for Sustainable ADA, and the Cardano community’s goals. We submitted a proposal focused on helping Grow Cardano, and Grow Africa.

With this funding, we had more capacity to focus on researching and sharing stories from change-makers in Africa and the diaspora, who are engaging with Cardano, creating a better tomorrow, today.

Thanks to the Cardano community and the use of their voting power from holding and staking ADA, we successfully secured the funding we were seeking. This helped us to take significant steps towards fulfilling our vision and mission having secured these crucial and helpful funds.

Through our time in the Project Catalyst ecosystem, we have been able to create a lot of strong and exciting partnerships with projects and businesses all across the world. This has led us to develop new ambitions for the work we do and to expand beyond education.

Experience and Expertise

The Sustainable ADA team has experience working with Figma, Canva, Wix, Final Cut Pro, Da Vinci Resolve 17, Adobe CC, Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc).

Sustainable ADA has experience and backgrounds in Sustainability, Economics, Humanities, Social Sciences. Along with work with NGOs, Social Enterprises, Freelance journalism, and blogging.

The team has been a part of the Cardano ecosystem since 2020 and is very dedicated to the Cardano ecosystem, having authored and published "Recalibrating Value, Identity &amp; Impact Through the Blockchain: Cardano Impact Report 2023”. This was the first of its kind Cardano Impact Report. The Cardano Impact Report is a comprehensive publication that showcases the positive impact generated by the Cardano community. It is designed as a book NFT (Non-Fungible Token) to leverage the unique features of blockchain technology, ensuring authenticity, transparency, and immutability of the content.

How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

The cost of the project represents value for money as it helps to verifiably demonstrate how Cardano is an enabler of postive impact, and attract more finance and capital willing to invest and support impact projects that can prove their impact.

Our efforts will also provide positive marketing opportunities for Cardano as the first Sustainable Blockchain, and enabling projects to walk the walk and not just talk the talk. Combating greenwashing/ SDG washing by bringing the tools to track and trace impact, and verify impact, and cost effectively deploy finance and capital to where it can have the most positive impact.

Impact Web3 and PIP will bring more visibility and recognition of impactful projects building on Cardano. By investing in Impact Web3, and its umbrella of products and services the community will gain access to valuable insights, collaboration opportunities, and inspiration to drive positive change.

The costs are justified and a modest ask given the average salaries for a graduate, and postgraduate researcher and Teacher in our sectors, and given our track record in and out of the Cardano community to date based out of USA (Salt Lake City), and western Europe (London and Paris).
