Integrating Cardano with beauty/wellness. By offering physical spaces and products, we incentivise customer adoption, esp among women, to improve representation & well-being in the Cardano ecosystem.

Problem:

Customer adoption in web3 is generally hit and miss, however relatable items such as 'beauty' products can be used as incentives to onboard more into the Cardano ecosystem, especially women.

[IMPACT] Please describe your proposed solution.

The proposed solution intends to attract more people to the Cardano ecosystem by providing incentives such as hairgoals beauty items and access to physical spaces 'member clubs' unlocked with cNFTs. We understand that consumer adoption of web3 technologies, including Cardano, can be hit or miss. To address this, we will harness the popularity and attraction of beauty items to attract new users and provide a real reason for them to download a wallet and join the Cardano community.

We provide a unique value proposition by delivering hairgoals beauty goods as prizes, which distinguishes us from standard onboarding techniques. Users will be able to obtain these things by just downloading a wallet and interacting with the Cardano ecosystem. This method not only gives consumers with a practical benefit, but it also introduces them to the world of decentralised finance and blockchain technology.

The solution will help both individuals who join the Cardano ecosystem and Cardano's general growth and acceptance. New users will be able to reap the benefits of blockchain technology while still enjoying high-quality beauty items. This strategy appeals to a broader audience, especially women who are interested in beauty and wellbeing.

Furthermore, Cardano values this solution since it provides a unique and interesting way to recruit and keep users. We create a great onboarding experience and build a sense of enthusiasm and pleasure by delivering rewards in the form of beauty products. This approach is consistent with Cardano's goal of creating a user-friendly and inclusive environment that appeals to a wide spectrum of people.

To illustrate the impact of our solution, we will track the amount of new users onboarded, Cardano ecosystem engagement and activity levels, and user feedback on their experience with the hairgoals beauty goods. These KPIs will provide insight into the efficacy of our approach, as well as the growth and adoption of Cardano aided by this novel onboarding process.

[IMPACT] How does your proposed solution address the challenge and what benefits will this bring to the Cardano ecosystem?

Our proposed solution directly addresses the challenge of developing or improving products and integrations that offer more use cases to the Cardano ecosystem and drive adoption. By leveraging the appeal of hairgoals beauty products as incentives, we aim to onboard more individuals into the Cardano community, particularly targeting women and those interested in beauty and wellness.

The benefits of our solution are twofold. Firstly, it introduces new users to the Cardano ecosystem by providing them with a tangible and relatable incentive - beauty and wellness products. This approach creates a positive onboarding experience and increases the chances of user retention. Secondly, our solution contributes to the overall growth and adoption of Cardano by expanding the range of products and use cases available. The more interesting and useful the products and integrations in the ecosystem, the more reasons people have to interact with the Cardano blockchain.

In terms of impact, our project aims to attract a significant number of new users to the Cardano community within a reasonable timeframe. We anticipate that the availability of hairgoals beauty products as incentives will drive user adoption and usage. We will track the number of new users onboarded, the engagement levels within the Cardano ecosystem, and the feedback from users regarding their experience with the products. These metrics will provide valuable insights into the success and effectiveness of our solution.

By offering unique incentives and targeting specific user demographics, our solution brings added value to the Cardano ecosystem. It not only expands the user base but also diversifies the types of users engaged with Cardano. This diversity contributes to a more vibrant and inclusive community, fostering further innovation and development. Overall, our solution aligns with Cardano's goal of building a thriving ecosystem with a wide range of products and integrations that offer meaningful value to users.

[IMPACT] How do you intend to measure the success of your project?

We will utilise both quantitative and qualitative criteria that fully represent the positive effects our initiative will have on the Cardano ecosystem to gauge its success.

We will monitor the amount of people who sign up as a result of our incentives. This indicator measures how successful our strategy is at fostering adoption and represents the project's capacity to entice people to join the Cardano ecosystem.

Participation in community events to identify how many new users will be onboarded onto the Cardano ecosystem. By creating a wallet, users can access products and access to our 'physical spaces' - we will build a gamification system.

Collecting qualitative data from users, such as feedback and opinions, is essential to comprehending their experience and level of satisfaction. We'll ask users for their thoughts and ideas through distributing surveys, conducting in-depth interviews, and hosting feedback sessions. With your help, we can improve our methods and the overall experience for our users.

The expansion and variety of Cardano's ecosystem's use cases will be monitored. As part of this, we will track the introduction and uptake of any novel features or integrations that our work makes possible. The project's increased use cases are evidence that it has helped to increase Cardano's functionality and utility.

Our work will speed up the rate at which people accept and use our product in the near future. We anticipate that a large number of new users will join the Cardano ecosystem after being incentivized by the availability of hairgoals beauty items. Cardano will attract more users because to its novel value proposition, which will be bolstered by the addition of services relating to aesthetics and health.

Cardano's long-term success will be aided by the company's willingness to experiment with incentivised beauty items. It will nurture an ecosystem of varied and interesting use cases, increase network effects, and drive continuing user acquisition. As a result of this expansion, Cardano's standing as a top blockchain platform will increase, allowing it to attract even more funding and investors.

We can evaluate the project's effect on Cardano's productivity and growth in depth if we utilise both quantitative indicators for tracking user uptake and engagement and qualitative measures for capturing user perceptions.

[IMPACT] Please describe your plans to share the outputs and results of your project?

To measure the success of our project, we will employ a combination of quantitative and qualitative metrics that capture the project's benefits for the Cardano ecosystem.

  1. Tracking the number of new users onboarded through our incentivization strategy. This metric reflects the project's ability to attract individuals to the Cardano ecosystem and assesses the effectiveness of our approach in driving adoption.
  2. Monitor user engagement levels within the Cardano ecosystem, including participation in community events, interactions with integrated services, and usage of Cardano-related products. Higher engagement signifies the project's ability to create an active and involved user base.
  3. Gathering qualitative data from users is crucial to understanding their experience and satisfaction. We will conduct surveys, interviews, and user feedback sessions to gather insights on user opinions, preferences, and suggestions for improvement. This feedback will guide us in refining our approach and enhancing user satisfaction.
  4. Growing use cases by tracking the growth and diversification of use cases within the Cardano ecosystem. This includes monitoring the development and adoption of new products and integrations facilitated by the project. Increased use cases demonstrate the project's contribution to expanding Cardano's functionality and utility.

In the short term, our project will have an immediate impact on user adoption and engagement. One of the 'route to markets' will be a national UK freshers week tour whereby we will have a stand at freshers fairs with physical products at hand, in order to claim the product, students have to download a Cardano friendly wallet like Yoroi. Further incentives will be registering their wallets to which we can use multi-sig to reward them with ADA to purchase beauty and wellness products and access to events. The process will teach them how to effectively use their wallets and be involved in the ecosystem. By offering hairgoals beauty products as incentives, we expect to attract a significant number of new users to the Cardano ecosystem, boosting its productivity and growth. Additionally, the integration of beauty and wellness-related services will create a unique value proposition for Cardano, appealing to a wider audience.

In the long term, the innovation of integrating incentivised beauty products will contribute to blockchains sustained growth through a 'Learn2Earn' approach. It will drive continued user acquisition, promote network effects, and foster an ecosystem of diverse and engaging use cases. This growth will enhance Cardano's reputation, attract further investments, and solidify its position as a leading blockchain platform.

By combining quantitative metrics to track user adoption and engagement with qualitative measures to capture user opinions, we can comprehensively assess the project's impact on Cardano's productivity and growth.

[CAPABILITY/ FEASIBILITY] What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability?

hairgoals is en route to becoming a household name, we have had incredible partnerships and incentive structures before for 'good behaviours'. This is something we do really well! Customer adoption in blockchain is still lacking and the 'Learn2Earn' approach offers a clear solution, but this time not just for developers but for customers.

I, Dr Adaku Agwunobi, holds a Ph.D. in entrepreneurial health and well-being in the digital economy, and am well-equipped to address the challenges and deliver effective results. As mentioned, hairgoals have a proven track record of executing projects and initiatives successfully within the blockchain ecosystem and beyond. Our past contributions and engagements all shown online demonstrate our capacity to meet objectives, deliver results, and effectively manage resources.

Robust financial processes and procedures will be put in place to ensure the responsible management of funds. This includes establishing a separate account for project funds, maintaining accurate records, and submitting financial reports on a regular basis. As well as monthly public updates on our website including amounts spent. To that end, we are committed to providing regular reports and updates on the project's progress, attained milestones, and financial management. This ensures transparency and accountability for our stakeholders, giving them complete visibility into the project's activities and results.

Feedback from Cardano/Project Catalyst stakeholders will be sought out throughout the duration of the project - we will engage actively with the Cardano community, project catalyst contributors, and other pertinent stakeholders in order to acquire insights, address concerns, and ensure that the project meets their expectations.

[CAPABILITY/ FEASIBILITY] What are the main goals for the project and how will you validate if your approach is feasible?

The main goals for the project is to onboard 900 new engaged users onto Cardano and this will be quantified by sign ups to incentives, new wallet creation, social media following/use of hashtags (which we can automate for incentives eligibility too) and activity on chain.

To elaborate:

  1. Onboard 900 new users onto Cardano: Our objective is to attract and engage new users to the Cardano ecosystem. We will measure this goal by tracking the number of sign-ups to our incentives program specifically designed to encourage user adoption. Additionally, we will monitor the creation of new wallets associated with our project, social media following and engagement (such as hashtag usage), and user activity on the Cardano blockchain.
  2. Increase user activity and transactions: We aim to promote active participation and transactions within the Cardano ecosystem. We will measure this goal by monitoring the number of transactions performed by users who have joined our project, analyzing the growth in on-chain activity, and assessing the overall increase in user engagement on the platform.
  3. Enhance user experience: Improving the user experience is crucial to drive adoption and retention. While this goal may not be easily quantifiable, we will evaluate it through qualitative means such as conducting user surveys and feedback collection. User satisfaction, feedback, and the overall sentiment towards our project will serve as indicators of the success in enhancing the user experience.
  4. Foster community engagement: Building a vibrant and active community around Cardano is essential for long-term growth. To measure this goal, we will track the growth in our social media following, the number of community members actively participating in incentives, on-chain activity, events, and collaborations related to our project. The level of engagement and interaction among community members will serve as indicators of community development and involvement.

[RESOURCES & VALUE FOR MONEY] How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

The cost breakdown of the project exemplifies the cost-effectiveness of the Cardano ecosystem for various reasons:

The costs have been determined by considering market rates and industry standards for the necessary services. The typical freelance rates for content creators, designers, videographers, and other professionals involved in the project have been taken into consideration. The cost allocations exhibit a reasonable and proportional distribution in accordance with the scope of work and level of expertise necessitated.

The Impact and Reach of a phenomenon or event refers to its influence and extent of dissemination or distribution. It encompasses the effects and scope of a The objective of the project is to facilitate the integration of 900 additional users into the Cardano ecosystem. The allocated budget facilitates the implementation of essential tasks, including participation in freshers fairs, development of educational materials, formation of partnerships, coordination of events, and provision of incentives through membership boxes. These endeavours will facilitate the attraction of novel users, enhance awareness, and foster active participation with Cardano, ultimately stimulating the process of adoption and expansion.

The allocation of funds in the budget breakdown demonstrates investments in tangible outputs that are expected to have a long-term effect on the Cardano ecosystem. The aforementioned elements encompass meticulously crafted educational resources, marketing materials of exceptional calibre, captivating content for social media platforms, tangible events, and customised membership packages. The aforementioned outputs play a significant role in improving the overall user experience, cultivating a strong sense of community, and nurturing loyalty among members.

Value-added partnerships play a crucial role in our budget allocation as they enable us to establish collaborations with various venues and organise pop-up events. These initiatives provide users with the opportunity to engage with Cardano in tangible settings, fostering meaningful interactions with our platform. These collaborations contribute to the enhancement of Cardano's credibility and visibility within the beauty and wellness sector, thereby attracting a wide range of users and generating significant exposure for the ecosystem.

The expenses incurred are due to the imperative of developing a comprehensive and effective onboarding strategy and facilitating significant user experiences that spans across 'beauty lovers' and students. Through the allocation of resources towards research, content creation, events, and incentives, it is possible to effectively tackle obstacles that impede entry, enlighten users about the advantages of Cardano, and cultivate an ecosystem that is both supportive and inclusive.

In general, the analysis of costs has been conducted with thorough consideration to ensure optimal allocation of funds, thereby maximising the project's impact, reach, and value within the Cardano ecosystem. The allocation of funds outlined in the proposal is crucial for the attainment of the project's objectives, as well as for the acquisition of new users and the facilitation of Cardano's sustained expansion and prosperity.
