Solution

blockchain publication, decentralized education, & the write of human knowledge. We will push the growth & development of censorship resistant education with an open source decentralized web3 library.

Problem:

Human Knowledge is important and should be backed up on the Cardano Blockchain, there are no decentralized WEB 3 Library solutions. Censorship threatens to stifle the progress of human innovation.

[IMPACT] Please describe your proposed solution.

The Alexandria Project (TAP) is an open-source community project working to revolutionize the worlds of blockchain publication, decentralized education, content distribution, archival collections, and other web3 solutions to the fields of art, information, literature, science, and technology.

TAP has an enduring commitment to using blockchain in innovative ways for the preservation & dissemination of knowledge, and to develop platforms and social networks that function as global libraries of content on Cardano. In doing so, TAP seeks to provide both resources and publication opportunities for global publics in ways that helps to promote learning and increased human understanding across generations.

The Alexandria Project offers it's members unique insight into learning about blockchain technology which helps develop their skills. This type of interaction plays a role in our communities ability to understand technology and gives them relevant skills to compete in a competitive technological environment. TAP also promotes education for all people because of the work we do in immutable censorship-proof educational tools. Governments cannot restrict its people from access to quality education as long as they can access the internet.

We would like to expand the infrastructure to ensure maximum impact-fullness for all people using the Cardano blockchain.

[IMPACT] Please describe how your proposed solution will address the Challenge that you have submitted it in.

The Alexandra project is a product in the Cardano ecosystem. In addition we would like to integrate our Products with other Protocols on Cardano.

This addresses the challenge by bringing already popular, successful content to a much broader audience. This is really needed to spread awareness about the Cardano blockchain. This proposal bridges cultures and countries together in common spirit creating educational tools that will improve the end user experience.

[IMPACT] What are the main risks that could prevent you from delivering the project successfully and please explain how you will mitigate each risk?

We work with a group of very determined Cardano trailblazers!

Together we are strong! The more funding we have the more work we can do!

Another challenge to this initiative would be to not create interesting high quality content, I think that is one of the most important aspects of this campaign.

potential risk of this project would be not being able to find a competent developer on Cardano. Thankfully We have programmers directly on the team to ensure its success.

[FEASIBILITY] Please provide a detailed plan, including timeline and key milestones for delivering your proposal.

Week 1-8

-Equipment upgrades

-Create Smart Contract based cataloging system

-Develop infrastructure to catalog web 3 library in human readable form.

-Develop CNFT records of important Cardano Milestones.

-Creation of art to promote the library to Cardano community members.

-Back up all data to make library fully immutable, and scalable.

Week 8-16

-Develop platforms and social networks that function as global libraries of content on Cardano

-researching new ways to build innovation, pushing the edge of web3 technology.

-Plutus pioneer developer to create smart contract based infrastructure.

[FEASIBILITY] Please provide a detailed budget breakdown.

$3500 <u>Developing infrastructure</u> to catalog web 3 library in human readable form.

programming, web development, video, content distribution.

$1500 <u> Art Creation</u> to promote the library. 60 hours x $25 per hour

$2500 <u>Equipment upgrades</u> -Team members have broadcast hundreds of hours of media using old equipment. This is really important to be able to provide high quality content. Funds will be used to upgrade the equipment used to broadcast our TAP content to WEB3. Audio interface, iPhone, microphone, Laptop PC, Vocal recording Mic.

$500 <u>Immutable Services</u> - Configuration and integrations with immutable services such as Arweave and IPFS Distributed, neural relay nodes.

$3500 <u>Plutus pioneer developer</u> @ $50 per hour 100 hours- smart contract development

$2500 **<u>CNFT records keeping </u>**of important Cardano Milestones. 100 hours @ $25 per hour

$1000 <u>Miscellaneous</u>- discretionary budget.

Total Requested Funds - $15,000

If not specifically specified the funds will be used according to budgeted line items. TAP will use the funds at the discretion of @cardanonoodz as efficiently and productive as possible to accomplish our stated goals.

[FEASIBILITY] If you are funded, will you return to Catalyst in a later round for further funding? Please explain why / why not.

It is possible we would propose additional funding for The Alexandra project in the future. The reason would be to increase our effectiveness with a larger operating budget.

[AUDITABILITY] Please describe what you will measure to track your project's progress, and how will you measure these?

The project will document number of posts, likes, comments, video views, to track engagement and will make all data available to the public with full transparency.

The community will be able to watch the progress by referring to the links in this proposal to the TAP library.

[AUDITABILITY] What does success for this project look like?

Success for this project would have major impact on the reach of Cardano's message by making more educational materials open to the world. Expanding the scale and scope of the Alexandra Project by onboarding more people to Cardano means success.

[AUDITABILITY] Please provide information on whether this proposal is a continuation of a previously funded project in Catalyst or an entirely new one.

Elements of this proposal were previously proposed in fund 8, but there was no more available funds in the proposed category. This proposal is brand new and tailored specifically to the current category by experienced Cardano users and community members.

Monthly Reports

This initial report is intended to describe our preliminary work leading up to the first month of project development. Since the announcement of Fund 9 results, our team has met together to organize a roadmap for the execution of our project in distinct stages. We have identified four distinct milestone stages where we will contribute to the development of the Alexandria Project. Included in these stages are areas that will grow the project in distinct areas, specifically with respect to the Library Collections, and we have delegated specific tasks to team members to ensure consistent progress is made in each.
