Our project aims to develop Cardano-branded T-shirts that will be produced and sold to financially support the development of blockchain education for the kids in Ethiopia. Blockchain is revolutionizing economies worldwide, and revolutionizing technology, and if the future can be improved by introducing these kids to this technology early on, then perhaps we are in a good position. Introducing the essence of decentralized technology and cryptocurrencies, we will help children get interested in the potential future occupation in the field.

Support to these children will entail workshops, online learning materials, and mentorship all focused on the individual need of each child. We also want to create a community around the initiative where children can interact with members of the Cardano community, volunteers.

Orphaned Children in Ethiopia: Receiving party to the educational program through whom the BOAT will be presented to increase their future employability.

Cardano Community: They can also support the initiative by buying the T-Shirts or for members willing to offer their time and be mentors and teachers.

Local Schools and Orphanages: Members who will consume the educational programs and other partners who will assist in the facilitation of the educational programs.

The project will have multiple positive impacts on the Cardano community:

It will increase more people’s awareness and interaction with Cardano internationally, and what T-shirts’ sales’ funds will be utilized for is learning.

The initiative will create new blockchain followers in Ethiopia who might join the Cardano ecosystem in the future.

It will further enhance the Cardano brand since the public will get to see that Cardano acts as a brand that seeks to improve real-world solutions, bring in more people, and educate them.

It will also afford members in the community the chance to get involved in the offering of mentorship as well as educational programs which will effectively advance the sentiment of purpose and involvement.

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?

Our team has done work with non-profit organizations in Ethiopia before and most of the schools and orphanages are known to us. We have also effectively handled previous Fund Raising drives by sale of merchandise. Our blockchain and educational experts will make sure that the blockchain curriculum can be understood by the children and that its objectives are long term.
