Our solution is to host a Pre-Summit Dubai "I'm On A Boat" Networking Event offering Cardano conference attendees a unique and memorable experience, fostering connections, maximizing their time in Dubai, and enhancing their overall satisfaction with the Cardano ecosystem.

How does your proposed solution address the challenge and what benefits will this bring to the Cardano ecosystem?

Our event directly addresses the challenge of the lack of opportunities to create a memorable experience for Cardano conference attendees. The unique nature of the event, being hosted on a boat in Dubai, generates interest and buzz regarding the Cardano ecosystem. This heightened exposure attracts attention to the Cardano project, its participants, and the innovative solutions being developed within the ecosystem. Representatives from various blockchain projects, industry leaders and organizations can connect and discuss possible synergies and collaberations.

How do you intend to measure the success of your project?

We will measure the success of our project by evaluating attendee feedback through post-event surveys, tracking the number of meaningful connections made during the event, monitoring collaboration outcomes and assessing the level of participant satisfaction. Additionally, we will gauge the event's impact on subsequent partnerships formed, innovations developed and the overall growth and visibility of the Cardano ecosystem within the MENA region & Dubai specifically.

Please describe your plans to share the outputs and results of your project?

After the event, we will make a detailed report enlightening on the successful delivery of the event. We will share this report with the Cardano community, industry attendees and relevant organizations both online and physically at the Cardano Summit 2023 a fews days later. We will also use social media to share highlights, photos, and what participants have to say. We shall organize webinars or panel discussions later both during and post event to share what we learned with a wide audience, both inside and outside the Cardano community.

We will have a dedicated video team on board who will capture the event's highlights, interviews with attendees and the overall atmosphere. These videos will be edited and shared through various channels, including social media platforms and during the Summit. By utilizing video content we hope to be allowing a wider audience to experience the excitement and networking opportunities that took place on board.

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability?

With the successful completion and launch of past Catalyst proposals (we were successfully funded and closed out past proposal during F9), we have a proven track record of delivering projects with trust and accountability. Our capability to maintain these standards is grounded in our experience as a team, full time 9 strong, transparent communication - be it in Town Hall breakouts of elsewhere, community engagement - 5k + active community, adherence to timelines and commitment to continuous improvement. The team is also active in the Cardano community and has deployed their Liquidity Farming and NFT Staking app to mainnet (no small feat). This dapp is live at: https://app.tangent.art. We want to stress that we are a full time team with commitments to build on Cardano.

GOALS:

• Facilitate Meaningful Connections: Our primary goal is to provide a platform for conference attendees to connect with industry peers, thought leaders and potential collaborators.
• Create a Memorable Experience: We strive to deliver a unique and unforgettable experience for participants. By hosting the event on a boat in Dubai, surrounded by stunning views and a lively atmosphere, we aim to leave a lasting impression and provide attendees with an enjoyable and memorable networking experience.
• Maximize Engagement: We aim to maximize attendee engagement by offering a range of networking activities, discussions, and opportunities for interaction. We want participants to actively participate, share insights, exchange ideas, and build relationships that extend beyond the event.

FEASIBILITY:

• Assess Venue and Logistics: We will evaluate the availability of suitable boat venues in Dubai and assess the logistics involved in hosting the event. This will include considering factors such as boat capacity, safety measures, catering, and transportation logistics.
• Participant Interest and Feedback: To validate the feasibility of our approach, we will gauge participant interest through pre-event surveys and registration numbers. Additionally, we will actively seek feedback from attendees during and after the event to assess their level of satisfaction and the overall success of our approach.
