Solution

United Media is going to go out into the field to find builders of the blockchain. The business that wants to do business using crypto currency. We will make a schedule and contact list of those folks

Problem

The problem that United Media is here to fix is the lack of production, content creation, and documenting the crypto community. Bringing the point of views of those who are working on the blockchain

United Media BlockChain Community

Please describe your proposed solution.

The United Media team is here to help with the media production, content creation, logo making and digital marketing. We want to provide the best content and tell the many stories of the blockchain in the blockchain community. When you think of United Media you think Ted Turner and Steve Jobs meshed into one. The goal is to be in the community documenting daily activities within the developer, coder, and techie life.

Please describe how your proposed solution will address the Challenge that you have submitted it in.

Being engaged in the community on a consistent basis will not only create a library of history, but it will also produce the never-before-seen rare glimpse into the life of the blockchain and those that make it happen. We will be leading the force that blazes the trail for this genre. The blockchain is a new mystery that most of the world would like to explore, play with and master. Only the brave will inherit the future and we plan on being at the forefront of it all.

What are the main risks that could prevent you from delivering the project successfully and please explain how you will mitigate each risk?

  1. Not enough people coming forth to an announced casting call for the episodes and podcast show then we will go out there and grab everyone who we feel belongs in the documentary.

2. Not enough staff for the workload due to the lack of workers or skilled people to attack the workload. We will teach people who want to work to do what we do such as video editing, logo creation, website building, photography, and more to ensure the constant content creation needed to build this historical library.

3. Running out of gas. If the gas prices keep going up, then an electric truck or solar vehicle may the solution for us to keep operating.

4. Running out of energy to operate the equipment. Solar panel portable battery chargers/power generators.

5. Running out of food. We will buy a piece of land to set our HQ and use some of the property to grow our own food in case of any food shortages.

6. Not having a place to operate the business from. We will buy RV or Portable offices as well tents to set up shop and get work done no matter what comes our way.

Please provide a detailed plan, including timeline and key milestones for delivering your proposal.

First and foremost, we will go over the list of equipment already in our arsenal. We will add the equipment needed to be able to work for a year straight without having to buy any more equipment unless it’s an absolute emergency.

Second, we will schedule shoots with blockchain businesses and actors in the blockchain community daily. We will have a few teams of shooters who will run around the city, state, and country capturing the needed footage to execute every episode.

Third, we will have editors who are in house and remote who have gone through the training of how to assemble the footage and export to the footage in a timing manner for upload to all platforms as needed.

Fourth, we will make promotional materials for the shows and episodes as well as marketing materials for the businesses. We will make logos and business cards, social media content and web content, flyers and pamphlets for events and we will be the go-to media production for all blockchain businesses and business in general. The goal is to on board as many businesses to receive crypto payments and to integrate businesses onto the blockchain.

Finally, we have the businesses showcase their goods and services on a monthly basis, yet we will focus on media production on a weekly basis to assure the success of this project and more to come.

Please provide a detailed budget breakdown.

Payroll for staff is 750 per staff member per week. 3,750 a week equals to 15,000 a month which equals to 180,000 for the year in labor cost.

Operating cost Gas, Food, Water bottles, Parking, Tolls, etc. 6,000 a month which equals to 72,000 for the year in operating cost not including rent, light, internet, insurance etc.

Rent, lights, internet, insurance; Rent is 2500 a month 30,000 for the year Internet is 500 a month which equals to 6,000 for the year. Insurance same thing, 500 a month 6,000 the year

Budget Breakdown

Payroll 180,000

Operating Cost 72,000

Rent/Light/Web/Insurance 42,000

Upgraded Equipment: 200,000 for permanent purchases and equipment rentals for the year

Misc. 150,000 for the year - hired drivers, makeup artist, spokesmodels, outfits, catered food etc.

Total cost for the first year: 644,000

Total cost for the first 6 months: 330,000

Please provide details of the people who will work on the project.

Glen Lambert is the producer and the director of the project along with partner Giovanni Latronica who will oversee casting, making appointments with businesses, and any logistics will be discussed between him and I. We have two hosts of the show – A.I. Love Tru and Im_Rello. We will be hiring more hosts because we want to bring some female hosts to the show as well.

Glen Lambert and Giovanni Latronica handle the filming and editing aspect of the project.

Everyone else will be hired to assist us in getting the job done. We will seek students who are studying media production and we will hire people in this industry to develop the team needed to grow and expand operations on a national and global level.

If you are funded, will you return to Catalyst in a later round for further funding? Please explain why / why not.

No, we will not return for funding because we have a business plan to make profits and even giving back to the fund to support future media production by others who choose to take on project funding such as these. Also, NFT’s for all media production will be available to those interested in becoming investors and executive producers with United Media.

Please describe what you will measure to track your project's progress, and how will you measure these?

The goal is to have 30 episodes a month come out. That’s almost an episode everyday being produced. When we are in our 2nd month from initial funding we will have the media machine rolling in the way we need to accomplish this. A major part of the United Media goal is to make educational shows, documentaries, and some entertainment segments. We are going to be big on auto biographies.

What does success for this project look like?

The success of this project looks like this. You can go to the United Media channel on the Ether Stream decentralized platform to watch all the shows and series produced by us. You’ll be able to watch for free. You’ll be able to purchase NFTs of the shows and series on the channel. The entire blockchain community will have a dedicated channel to the documentation of this revolutionary moment in time. Everyone involved in the shows and series will hold an NFT to receive royalties from their participation in specific shows.

Please provide information on whether this proposal is a continuation of a previously funded project in Catalyst or an entirely new one.

This is an entirely new proposal
