Our first step in preparing for the launch of the next hackathon is to create the appropriate categories under which participants will build projects and create ideas, as well as rules and acquiring media partners. Due to the fact that December is a month when we may see a significant drop in people's activity in many parts of the world, we will not be officially launching the hackathon this year. We would like to make the best use of Catalyst funds and get as many submissions as possible, which will translate into a significant number of projects on the Milkomeda Cardano Sidechain. We are also learning lessons from the Milkomeda DAO Hackathon to run the program even better.

Therefore, in December, we will start creating proper documentation, dedicated pages (Hackathon UI), handbooks, form systems and strategies for hackathon implementation. Our goal is to start marketing and announcing the Hackathon at the very beginning of next year. The program should launch no later than the first half of February (right after Milkomeda DeFi Hackathon).
