[IMPACT]
It is tough staying on top of your ADA crypto. There can be a big jump any second, and you just can’t afford to miss it. Checking your phone has become second nature. Almost every free moment you have is used to check your ADA crypto. At work, at home, even on your commute.
It can get overwhelming, and become an unhealthy obsession.
We are going to create a gadget that track and display near real time ADA price movements. The display shows price movement close to real time and allows the user to track ADA related information such as Price, Market Movement, Value of their Ada Holdings and provide price or movement alerts as set by the user.
The device will be synchronized to provide updates on ADA via internet. Software for the device will be open sourced and stored at an open repository so that the community can improve its performance and functionality over time.
Our proposed gadget will have a simple colour display that will provide this ADA information with speaker that can sound off alarms or provide audio updates on price movement of ADA. The display, electronics and battery will all be encased in a box which will look like an electronic desk top clock that you can place anywhere.
Our ADA Ticker Display will help users track ADA price movement close to real time without them having to check on their computer or mobile phone all the time. This will help free up their bandwidth and take that distraction away so that they can focus on the task at hand. ADA price information is available right there at the display when you need it.
Gadget Information
It sits quietly —well not too quietly — on your desk or bedside combining the 3 core features that any crypto holder ever needs:
Price alert lights — GREEN or RED — to indicate ups & downs in the market.
A preferred crypto/currency or FIAT/currency tracker pair ( ADA/USD - ADA/EU - BTC/USD )
Adjustable timeframes to see hourly/daily/weekly/monthly fluctuations
Sound Buzzer Alert
Some challenges could be the availability of parts due to global supply chain issues. We could be designing the item with some specific part but when it comes to production, that part could be out of stock. However, this can be mitigated as many parts are common and can be replaced easily.

[AUDITABILITY]
We will update every week our repositories in GITHUB.

Success will mean that the Device perform according to specifications and it will be promoted and shown to the Cardano Community so that the Community can proceed to order this gadget to track ADA more easily, without affecting their mental health.
We seek the Cardano Community support to develop this product. Once successful, we will perform a trial production of 1,000 pieces and the first 1,000 users in the community can order this gadget at Cost + Shipment.
This is an entirely new project. We placed this project at the Miscellaneous Section because it is a hardware project for the community - A ticker gadget that helps them track Ada prices. There is no category for such projects so we place it under Miscellaneous Section.
