Solution

Cardano Net seeks to creatively inform pre-tertiary students in northern Ghana about Cardano ecosystem through campus conferences, community workshops, radio talk shows and social media.

Problem:

Pre-tertiary Students in Northern Ghana know very little about blockchain technology (CARDANO) hence are unable to contribute to the ecosystem.

This is all because of lack of information.

[IMPACT] Please describe your proposed solution.

Cardano Net will use several educational platforms to disseminate information regarding Cardano ecosystem. We intend to build a network of proactive Pre-tertiary students who will serve as ambassadors in their communities after receiving education about Cardano ecosystem.

We will hold blockchain education conferences, workshops, radio talk shows, blockchain fun games etc.

[IMPACT] How does your proposed solution address the challenge and what benefits will this bring to the Cardano ecosystem?

Cardano Net will through its educational activities increase the onboarding of students unto the cardano ecosystem. It will also see the involvement of more students submitting proposals to develop projects that will be useful to the Cardano ecosystem.

[IMPACT] How do you intend to measure the success of your project?

The success of Cardano Net will be measured through the following means or mediums

  1. Increased knowledge among pre tertiary students about Cardano blockchain and ecosystem
  2. Increased proposal submission from students in northern Ghana.
  3. Increased purchase of Ada by students for staking purposes.
  4. Increased number of Yoroi wallets owned by students.

[IMPACT] Please describe your plans to share the outputs and results of your project?

We will use every available means to share the output of our project on a monthly basis.

Every of our engagement with pre-tertiary students will be recorded and made available to the community via any convenient social media outlet

[CAPABILITY/ FEASIBILITY] What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability?

Our lead contributor Jeremiah Baani, has been engaging tertiary students on the benefits of joining the Cardano ecosystem. So when it comes to educating pre-tertiary students, we believe that we can achieve our intended target.

Our co- contributor, Benjamin Baani is a student and will be pivotal in engaging students to appreciate the vast benefits Cardano has to offer. He has also been engaged in a number of Cardano related conference like the just ended Cardano Summit 2022 held in Tamale where he was a key speaker.

The main proposer, Kojo Owusu Appiah also has adequate experience in educating students as well as collaborating with other stakeholders in the educational sector to widen the scope of the project.

[CAPABILITY/ FEASIBILITY] What are the main goals for the project and how will you validate if your approach is feasible?

The main goals of this project are;

  1. Eliminate the ignorance of blockchain technology ( Cardano ecosystem) among pre-tertiary students in northern Ghana.
  2. Increase the number of students being onboarded unto the cardano ecosystem.
  3. Increase the number of students from northern Ghana submitting proposals to impact the eco system.
