Our research:

Football is the most popular sport globally, boasting 250 million regular players and 4 billion fans, creating an economic industry worth hundreds of billions. Annual major tournaments attract an ever-growing audience, demonstrating the sport’s expansion into previously underrepresented countries, regions, and genders. However, there has been little effort in incorporating new technologies, especially blockchain, to revolutionize the daily activities of playing and supporting football for these billions of people, opening up a new economy and paving the way for transformative changes in the football landscape.

Our solution:

We creating the BitSphera dApp on Cardano integrated with the Titã, leveraging advanced Blockchain and IoT features to deliver users unprecedented experiences:

1. Play physical football with others worldwide by participating in global challenges.
2. Instantly and intuitively improve their soccer skills.
3. Create global challenges.
4. Enjoy the freedom to trade, cheer, and bet.

<u>Architecture:</u>

BitSphera will receive and analyze data from the Titã smart ball to showcase players' skills through 3D videos and figures, calculating the tokens earned by each player. Users can then utilize these results and resources to interact with others through the advanced utilities below.

The following advanced utilities of BitSphera are carefully designed to help users improve their soccer skills and create a platform for them to interact globally. This design attracts a large number of users and keeps them engaged in the ecosystem as well as on Cardano:

+ Built-in training: Players will improve their ball control and shooting skills with a regularly updated repository of exemplary play situations. A virtual coach will guide them instantly to adjust technical elements such as ball touch and shooting power.

• Open to everyone, this free feature attracts a large number of participants from all races, ages, genders, and geographical locations, laying a solid foundation for a growing user base.

+ Move and Earn: Each time a player interacts with the Titã, they earn the utility token (HPC token). • This mechanism is designed to put the power to establish the essential financial foundation for the ecosystem into the hands of the users. It is transparent and user-friendly. Besides the intrinsic utility, users may also be attracted by potential future benefits as demand for these tokens rises in the market.
• KAT is designed as Cardano's Native Token standard. Its tokennomics, which incentivizes hard training and includes an immediate burn after use, creates significant daily supply and demand. This, in turn, leads to a rapid increase in the amount of ADA needed for exchanges.

+ Play to Earn: This feature showcases a collection of 6 attractive game genres, where players can easily use the tokens they have previously collected to create and/or participate in unlimited challenges:

• <u>Battles:</u> Players use KAT to start the game from the game store, which is updated with important matches around the world. They can challenge others directly by placing HPC bets, and the winner will receive the bet while showcasing their skills in exciting duels.
• This design is expected to attract a large number of players to the ecosystem every day. Imagine the excitement of users eager to utilize this feature after watching matches like Brazil vs. Argentina, England vs. Germany, Cameroon vs. Ivory Coast, MU vs. Real Madrid, and Barca vs. Bayern Munich, to challenge their rivals and express their love and passion for the sport.
• <u>Challenges (Skill-Pool Games):</u> Participants invest HPCs in challenges inspired by renowned football plays, such as impressive free kicks or penalties. Prizes, a percentage of total fees, grow with increased participation, and creators retain remaining HPCs.
• Is a lottery-style variation of the<u> Battles</u>, the <u>Challenges</u> allow one player to compete against many, benefiting both the winner and the game creator, while also helping to retain users within the ecosystem.
• <u>Superstar challenges:</u> Classic shots like Roberto Carlos' banana kick or Zidane's free kick become daily challenges. Players pay an entrance fee, with prizes awarded weekly and monthly for shots closest to the sample. The remaining amount will gradually increase and be awarded to the player who replicates the sample shot accurately.
• This feature provides players with a platform to be honored by emulating the skills of their idols. The prestige associated with these challenges and the significant rewards given regularly will inspire and nurture player loyalty.
• <u>Club competition:</u> Players can gather into clubs, and a club can choose a football skill set to challenge other clubs to play directly or indirectly against them for a grand prize contributed by all participating clubs.
• Football is a team sport, and the team in BitSphera is more than that, it is not limited by geography, class, religion, or race, this feature creates a sense of community and connection between users, enriching the gaming experience, and increasing diversity and sustainability for the ecosystem.
• <u>Team tournament:</u> Organized in the same format and time as major tournaments such as World Cup, Euro, Copa America, Asia… Players gather to represent their country or club to compete with other countries and clubs.
• The user's national team may not win the World Cup, but their team can still win the BitSphera World Cup.
• <u>Online Live events:</u> Combined with built-in video calls, this feature allows s to create and join, bet, and spectate live, creating a vibrant and inclusive community experience.

+ NFTs and Marketplace: The power of Blockchain cannot be ignored, users can create NFTs like avatars, sportswear, stadiums and clubs… they can also trade those NFTs, create and sell technical exercises on the Marketplace.

+ P2P betting: It is human nature to love to bet, BitSphera's HPC token-only p2p betting mechanism allows users to bet with each other without conflicting with the law and without being manipulated by the bookmaker. It serves as a complementary element within a fully functional ecosystem.

This proposal calls for funding from fund 13 to build a complete interactive prototype of the BitSphera dApp on Cardano to gather feedback from users and the Cardano community, to perfect its design and functionality.

BitSphera's success brings the following measurable benefits to Cardano:

• Boosting ADA adoption by bringing it straight into real life: With massive transaction demand anticipated from millions of daily users, BitSphera’s KAT governance token designed as a native token on Cardano will significantly increase the demand for ADA through its exchange demand and burn mechanism.
• Demonstrating Cardano's capabilities: As a hybrid of IoT and Cardano, BitSphera’s growth and success will demonstrate the technological strength of Cardano. More broadly, it reflects the power of bringing blockchain to life. Ultimately, it encourages developers to build similar applications on Cardano.
• Raise awareness about Cardano: Every time users open the app, they will be informed about Cardano's role as a platform with BitSphera. Every time they want to trade, they will also be notified and guided to prepare the required amount of ADA.
• Pioneering experience: We predict there will be many legal issues that we will have to overcome, and that experience will also become an asset to the Cardano community.

BitSphera has several metrics to accurately quantify the above impacts, such as daily users, the number of tokens created, and the number of Titã balls sold. Qualitatively, these impacts can be easily measured through the frequency of activities and the affection expressed by users on media channels.

We own and control Titã smart soccer ball technology, which serves as an ideal tool for this project. We are also developing an optimal production and distribution chain. These advantages enable us to adjust Tita's technical factors to meet requirements swiftly, customize the external design based on local needs, and keep the selling price always optimal.

Team:

• Nguyen Van Toan, General Director of this project is also the Founder of Titã Smart Soccer Ball and brings over 30 years of experience in UI/UX and a strong inclination for innovation. He has played a crucial role in developing our smart ball technology and shaping the BitSphera design. With his creative instincts and extensive knowledge, he will be instrumental in the prototyping phase. Additionally, he has significant management experience, having served as a company director for over 14 years and as a national project manager for nearly 3 years.
• Our CTO, Bui Hung Viet, brings 23 years of experience in the IT industry, having progressed from a programmer to a project manager at some of the country’s largest corporations, including VTC and Viettel over the last 17 years. This journey has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of project management, which he will apply to this project. Additionally, with his extensive experience in the IT industry, Viet also serves as a developer to ensure that the prototype aligns with BitSphera’s technical design.
• Nguyen Bui Binh Nguyen - Enthusiasm is an instinct, since high school he created a youth art corner as a playground for his friends and participated in the coordination of the Hanoi Youth Football League. Bringing his passion for sports management along his life journey to Montreal, he is managing a football club for overweight people and organizing a recreational football tournament here. With his industry user-facing experience, he will take on 1 of 2 UX research positions of this proposal and advise the project on his experiences in sports management.
• Nguyen Bui Hai Bang speaks three languages and has consistently played soccer from elementary school in Vietnam to now in Quebec. His regular interactions with amateur soccer players have given him valuable insights into their needs, which have helped the project design its core functions effectively. In this proposal, with his deep connection and empathy for the target users, he will serve as a key UX researcher and soccer technical consultant.

Other:

The founding team has been working together since January 2020 to develop the Titã smart ball and designing features for BitSphera since November 2021. This demonstrates the team's passion for this project and is a testament to their determination to see the project through to its final result.

Yes, we have developed Titã smart soccer ball:

• It is integrated with sensors to record and transmit data to the dApp about the force of the shot, the number of revolutions, the number of touches, and its trajectory when being played.
• We have proceeded to register the copyright of its physical design and PCB design.
• We have built a manufacturing system in China and a distribution plan through online channels. This will make it easy for users to buy the Titã for $60, a price that is affordable for most, even compared to a regular soccer ball.

How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

The grant funds are used to pay hourly wages at a base rate:

+ Project Manager: ($28/h) - based on the low average salary of the position in Hanoi, Vietnam

We conducted our UX research in Montreal because it is an open, multi-ethnic city, its people love soccer and play soccer regularly. Two members who do this work also live here. These factors help UX research get the most accurate results at the lowest cost.

The remaining jobs are Project Manager, UX/UI Designer, Business Analyst, and Developer, which we do in Hanoi because this is where the salary and work efficiency ratio is reasonable while the other two members are living and working here. Therefore, the cost of these jobs will also optimize the fund's finances.

All project members accept a base salary and a low average salary for each position to minimize total project costs.
