Our thoughts arise from a simple question we we're asking ourselves during the current crisis in Ukraine. We we're willing to donate some of our ADA, but "To whom?!"

We could not think about one single charity accepting Cardano and we we're apparently not the only ones.

That is how we came up with the idea to build a digital hub where NGOs could get listed and thus receive donations from Cardano users in ADA. Our primary goal thus is to make donating more easy by matching NGOs and people that are willing to donate. Users will be able to directly donate on the platform, so wallet integration is a key feature.

!Important!: This idea is not limited to help in the current Ukraine crisis (especially since it will take time), but a general approach to foster projects for the common good. We aim to offer a variety of different projects in collaboration with NGO's, which will enable Cardano users to support their favourite initiatives. Projects could cover topics such as climate protection, right for education, human rights, homeless charity, …

However, this idea could be developed way further. Just think about time-limited campaigns for good causes or an matching Cardano users to all the different stakepools out there donating a share of their income. We could also dream about building our very own charity funded by Cardano users all over the world!

Our goal is to make the world a better place, through our platform.

The main challenge would be to convince NGOs as well as users, that beeing registered on our platform is benefitial to them. As a network good, value for users is generated through a high number of frequent users.

It is honestly just a nice idea at this stage, in case of funding a successful realization would start off by fine-tuning the concept and than beginning the technical development of the platform. Crucial is a paralleliziation with PR activities, convincing NGOs and charities that a listing would be benefitial to them.

We're quite sure that from a technical point of view everything is not that problematic and thus not require unusual tools or solutions.

I can't provide much detail at this point, it is clear however, that a lot of man power will be necessary to make this idea happen. Most importantly, web developers and people that will do PR-work, the most important and risky bit.

We're three friends experienced in web development, Cardano related IT-stuff & business development. However, this is clearly not feasible with the work of us three. So we would most likely need 2 more web developers and about 2 full time people working on PR-stuff.

The number of enlisted NGO would serve as a basic KPI tracking our progress in terms of PR.

Aditionally, the operability of our platform serves as a measure for progress, partial solutions will be delivered continously (standard in software development).

The first of to steps towards success would be the launch of the platform. The second step, and more important, would be the achievement of having a critical mass of NGOs and donors on our platform, since it is above all comparable to a standard network good.

This is a entirely new one and we are very thankful for everybody supporting us on this journey.
