Please describe your proposed solution.

We want to connect the communities around the world in a more structured and engaging way than what is currently achieved as well as give projects a platform to give updates and answer questions that the community may have directly.

We would also like to include a "Laymans terms" easier to digest summary of the developments in the ecosystem as a whole and get feedback from the communities at each event on what their current concerns are.

As an example of how an event would work, we envision holding the event on the last Sunday of each month. The Main Event is in Dubai at 1pm-5pm Local time, so that communities in Asia and europe can join via video call and ask questions, present updates. the whole Event is livestreamed and recorded on Youtube. Another event will be UK Main event so communities in different regions can take part live by video call.

Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community.

It should:

• bring more adoption as the events will focus on showcasing the size and quality of communities all over the world
• Provide an alternative and easier to digest "Summary" of what is going on in the ecosystem
• Provide projects with another avenue to engage directly with the community
• Give the community a chance to ask questions directly
• Provide a chance for people to understand a bit better the reasons why communities in other parts of the world choose cardano and what projects interest them/what they feel is missing

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?

I have held events similiar to this in the past, so far I have delivered on 2 event activities specifically for the community. That can be found on the Discover Cardano website under past events. The First was the Discover Cardano stand at Crypto expo Dubai and the other was the DIFC event which was a side event for Cardano summit in Dubai.

Both were well organised in very little time and well attended/received.

What are the key milestones you need to achieve in order to complete your project successfully?

Provide booking confirmation for the first 3 events and an agenda for the event listing the Cardano communities that will also be joining on the Live video call.

Who is in the project team and what are their roles?

David Talbot - Organising the main events, have reached out to community members in other locations around the world to host local meetups and video call in. Will be employing someone to help market/engage with the community. Have also spoken to projects interested in taking part and identified potential venues and catering in UK/Singapore/Dubai already.

Please provide a cost breakdown of the proposed work and resources.

For Each of the 6 events:

$8,000 for location rental and refreshments in multiple locations.

$2,000 of time spent organising/promoting/summarising/engaging with community for the events

Sub total - $10,000 per event. (6 events)

Total $60,000 (@$0.40 ADA = 150,000ADA)

How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

The content and structure of the events will provide a type of engagement and learning currently missing from the ecosystem. A chance to have community members from different regions to converse and discuss the benefits/goals/ difficulties they face with Blockchain/Cardano on a monthly basis.

It will help to enlighten, encourage and initiate Ideas and improvements for the ecosystem as a whole and inspire both newcomers and existing members at a level of communication that is less technical in nature and easier to comprehend.
