[IMPACT] Please describe your proposed solution.

The Earthonomy is very unique in that we are the only social media-based carbon offsetting platform on the Internet. Our platform is dedicated to helping the planet transition into a circular economic model and natural capital accounting.

Our goal is to use our internal platform's cardano-based native crypto-asset to help increase member participation and engagement. Our members include individuals, corporations, non-profits, and other entities who have a carbon-footprint. Higher participation in Earthonomy, such as through carbon offsets, will result in more trees planted, which will reduce the amount of carbon in the atmosphere.

We will implement all features using scrum methodologies and deploy in bi-weekly increments.

[IMPACT] Please describe how your proposed solution will address the Challenge that you have submitted it in.

We plan to implement the following enhancements to our platform:

1) Add a digital wallet to our platform that supports holding ADA and our internal Cardano-based native token. This wallet shall interact within the platform, allowing members to send/receive ADA and Earthonomy's platform token between members, withdrawal and receive ADA and Earthonomy's platform token.

2) Allow members to earn our platform's native token by performing actions such as registering, calculating carbon footprints, offsetting carbon footprints, calculating and offsetting plastic footprints, creating courses on sustainability, completing courses on sustainability, planting trees, generating renewable energy, participating in carbon sequestration, developing apps for the platform, participating in the DAO, performing leadership and marketing services, etc. Members may earn extra Earthonomy platform's token through adding additional funds within their monthly carbon or plastic offset subscriptions fees.

3) System shall publish carbon neutral certificates on the Cardano blockchain to improve transparency and assist in validations.

[IMPACT] What are the main risks that could prevent you from delivering the project successfully and please explain how you will mitigate each risk?

A potential risk is that our production environment experiences a critical bug in our digital wallet that's integrated with the mainnet Cardano blockchain. To mitigation this risk we plan to implement various lower environments that integrate with Cardano testnet. We shall carry out performance and reliability testing using JMeter and/or AppDynamics. We'll also use DevOps methodologies using tools such as Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, and Jira, so to automate and ensure stable code migrations between environments.

[FEASIBILITY] Please provide a detailed plan, including timeline and key milestones for delivering your proposal.

Resources needed:

To implement the features represented in this proposal, we'll require one principle architect, two smart contract developers, two UX developers, two testers, one DevOps engineer, one technical writer, and one scrum master (project manager). Additionally we'll require two marketing team members to help promote the new features.

Timeline:

OCTOBER 2022 - Implement digital wallet (with core features) within Earthonomy's testnet platform.

NOVEMBER 2022 - Test digital wallet within Earthonomy's testnet platform.

DECEMBER 2022 - Implement digital wallet (with core features) within Earthonomy's mainnet platform.

JANUARY - MARCH 2023 - Marketing and Promotion of new features

John Williams shall be the principle architect. John in located in the Washington DC area, USA.

We have two UX developers on staff, one located in Ukraine and the other located in India. We also have a Certified Scrum Master on staff who resides in the Washington DC area, USA. Everyone else, we'll need to source through a platform we've been using for many years, Upwork. We'll source our smart contractor developers through networking efforts within the Cardano community or Upwork.

Yes, we will certainly try. We have a large list of features we'd like to implement, much of these are Cardano-related.

We intend to conduct weekly progress meetings, with metrics TBD.
