Empowering African Farmers with NFT

[IMPACT] Please describe your proposed solution.

We would like to create a Minimal Viable Product ADA Wallet- NFT Creator GeoCrops APP for the Farmers in Africa to be able to create an NFT Showing their contactdetails of the farmer, Timestamp and GEO location, when and where the photo of their Crop was made integrated in the NFT that can be forwarded / sold to the buyer of the Crop including QR to NFT on actual Crop packaging.

Besides that we would offer them a basic publish platform where Farmers can share their NFT and Contact details to gain buyers. This will also attract more farmers to the free app.

With the Capacity of delivering Crop including a GEO - Farmer NFT and QR link to NFT on packaging:

1) The Farmer increases the value of his crop. Ask ADA for the NFT part which does not cost him out of pocket investment, He can Produce the NFT within minutes for the buyer at his farm location.

2) The Farmer's reputation will grow internationally increasing the chance of higher demand & better prices for his Crop, Bad Quality of neighbour Farmers affect him less. Incentive for Quality Farming

3) Consumers will have more information about the farmer and origine of the farmers products (QR to NFT on package)

[IMPACT] What are the main risks that could prevent you from delivering the project successfully and please explain how you will mitigate each risk?

The Main risk is that the foreign co-development team does not produce the app according to plan.

To mitigate that risk we have included budget for a personal trip to the co-developers to discuss the project and progress face to face. We also Monitor the progress closely, pay the co-development team in pre defined milestones that need to be reached before a next payment is done..

Second risk is The roll out / marketing which is depending on a partner in Africa.

To mitigate that risk we have included budget for marketing with preset conditions.

[FEASIBILITY] If you are funded, will you return to Catalyst in a later round for further funding? Please explain why / why not.

The aim is to achieve a MVP and to be able to continue from there without additional support from Catalyst, giving other great projects a chance on Catalyst. Ofcourse returning to Catalyst in a later round is an option but we do not expect to need more support than requested in this proposal.

[AUDITABILITY] Please describe what you will measure to track your project's progress, and how will you measure these?

We will check the GUI and Coding parts of the product in progress, check functions and will - check the software for bugs and fix during development. After launch have third independent parties audit

Success for this project will be when African Farmers will be able to get Fair prices for their crop and to reach that goal we create the "My Crop" NFT that will push this to reality not only from Farmers side but also from the buyers and consumers side who are more engaged with where products come from.
