Solution

Introducing our integrated Cardano Wallet on Telegram—the easiest Cardano wallet for creating, transacting, and withdrawing to Fiat currencies, tailored for the African market.

Problem

How many people do we all know that find the idea of Web3 intimidating/confusing?

How likely is ‘grandma’ to download a crypto wallet and start using it?

We need an easier onboarding solution.

Please describe your proposed solution.

Inception

Endubis wallet came from the idea of simplifying the onboarding process to enable easy payments of ADA in Ethiopia. Our target audience for this app/bot is people new to the crypto space, that don't want to deal with or have access to centralized platforms/exchanges.

Outcomes

After a successful initial test run of the 'Cardano wallet as a chatbot' concept, we have received wide interest within our community and we have over 200 people currently accessing it on the testnet.

We have finalized the essential development and with this fund, we hope to make our product market-ready. We have been experimenting/ testing and developing this project over the past year, with zero budget, and this funding will allow us to finally launch the product.

Please define the positive impact your project will have on the wider Cardano community.

We like to think of this wallet as strictly for onboarding new users. This wallet is designed to solve very specific issues in the African market. Specifically that of ease of use and withdrawal to local currencies.

The Success of this project means new users join the Cardano community. We will measure the number of new users onboarded and the number of transactions across the wallet, all of which will be available on-chain and through monthly reports.

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?

By completing the previously funded project we have proven the possibility of such wallets to provide ease of use. Additionally, our onboarding numbers have proven our ability and dedication to deliver on this project.

  • Enhance visual elements, ensuring a cohesive and engaging user interface.
  • Integrate responsive design principles for a consistent experience across devices.

>Milestone 2: Security and Customer Support:

  • Objective: Strengthen the security measures of the wallet and add customer support services.

Please provide a cost breakdown of the proposed work and resources.

  • 1x UI/UX Designer: 1,500 ADA /mo x 2 = 3,000 ADA
  • 1x web developer: 5000 ADA /mo x 4 = 20,000 ADA
  • 1 Junior Developer: 1,500 ADA /Month x 6 = 9000 ADA
  • Cloud Hosting: $2,000.00 = 5700 ADA
  • Marketing/education: $3000 = 5700 ADA
  • Project Administration: $2000 = 5700 ADA

Total: Appx. $17,500 = 51,800 ADA

Payment for Developers has already been agreed upon in ADA, and price fluctuations will not affect 65% of the project in any way. for the Other services we used the USD value calculated at the current price of .35 and we're confident any reasonable change towards the lower end will not affect this project.

How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

This will be the final phase of the project, after this we expect the project to fund itself through its stake pool, transaction fees, and partnerships we intend to develop with local merchants.

This wallet has specifically been designed to onboard new users by simplifying the ease of use. We are working with the aim of this wallet opening the flood gated of new users. we are confident we can reach our target of 10,000 users within the first 5 months. we want to ensure that these new users get the best experience and allow us to guide them through the wonderful world of the Cardano ecosystem.

The team working on this project is very passionate about Cardano and since the inception of this project, we have spent plenty of our own resources and time ensuring its success, and we will continue to do so. We have put in a very minimal budget for what we plan to achieve, and due to the lower wages in our country, we are capable of delivering this project with a relatively low budget.
