We will host a virtual hackathon for individuals & companies in the blockchain games domain and share our knowledge about Cardano & Ethereum

Detailed Plan

There are currently many games deployed in EVM-based chains for gaming. A lot of these games depend on EVM-specific logic, low transaction fees and fast finality for function properly. These properties are easy to achieve in Milkomeda and so we intend to leverage this fact on top of the blockchain domain expertise at dcSpark & Milkomeda to host a virtual hackathon.

The funds will be used for the prize pool for the hackathon and Milkomeda will cover the other costs associated with holding the event (we will only use at most 5K from the budget for event-related expenses)

If funded, the event will take place in the first half of 2022

Milkomeda is a protocol to give EVM capability to Cardano through a sidechain with ADA as the base asset.

dcSpark is a crypto ecosystem builder company. We build critical infrastructure for promising crypto projects that we are passionate about such as Cardano. dcSpark was founded by three former EMURGO members who have been deeply involved in the Cardano ecosystem for years.
