[IMPACT] Please describe your proposed solution.

KemiLand Metaverse MVP(Minimum Valuable Product) is an unreal 5 simulating Ancient Egyptian life 4500 years back in history. Users will use a VR to browse an imaginary Ancient Egyptian royal palace. Users will enjoy the 3D structure and have a glance of how Egyptians used to live in such an Ancient Egyptian royal palace. The journey should last like 15 to 30 min. For the purpose of the MVP A non-player character (NPC) will represent the Ancient Egyptians in the palace.

Once MVP is completed, it will be released with number of selected persons(10-12) from around the world to acquire users feedback. The selected persons will promote KemiLand and its MVP to local surroundings. The target audience should be people that already have VR setup or are willing to acquire VR setup and can convince others to try KemiLand MVP. These people will be considered as our first ambassadors.

This proposal is an extension to "Cultural Tourism - Beyond Borders“' proposal submitted in fund8, during the first few months since submitting "Cultural Tourism - Beyond Borders" we got more focused on creating the MVP as the basis for the entire project. This is part of restoration cycle 01. Many building blocks for the metaverse require further investigation.

KemiLand metaverse MVP is developed in Egypt, Africa and as its reparation increase it will position Cardano as one of the blockchain success stories in Egypt, Middle East and Africa.

We have great ambitions for the project the community benefits stated in the previous fund8 proposal and here is how we see the community profit

"KemiLand will target the public not only blockchain enthusiast, It will target ordinary people attracted by Ancient Civilizations, artist, celebrities' and everyone that interested on the Ancient Egyptian Civilization."

This MVP will not utilize the Cardano blockchain.

But Cardano blockchain will be utilized for the following features in the future releases:

  • Minting KemiLand digital assets(Parcel, Avatars, Structures, Furniture, Wearable, etc)

  • Issue visit tickets.

  • The foundation for governance features (DAO/Voting/Minting/Stacking..etc)

  • Maybe for game multiplayer features as physics(Movement) and communication(Voice,etc)

Complete Project Roadmap:

Warning! A Complete roadmap is work in progress according to the finding of restoration cycle 01(RC-01). The below explain our initial approach for future restoration cycles and not to be considered a final or confirmed detailed roadmap.

Project Phases

The project is divided into four phases with each phase consist of four restoration cycles. The planning is considered to keep development of features in progress.

*Khufu , Khafre , Menkaure and Sakara are the biggest and heights Pyramids in Giza Plateau.

The Khufu Phase(Establishment)

Lunching KemiLand and building teams, experience, publicity and relations. Main deliverables of this phase is a beta version from the platform.

The Khafre Phase(Into the new world)

Platform performance and enhancements and the start of community initialization . We expect first version from the platform will be ready by RC-06(Restoration Cycle 06). Visitors and citizens will start journeys for so far restored monuments. Citizen start contributing and building ecosystems.

The Menkura Phase(People are the Power)

A Complete decentralization for the platform and community preparation. Second version from the platform with complete decentralization should be available by RC-10(Restoration Cycle 10). Citizens start proposing KemiLand regulations and future meanwhile operate the complete platform.

The Sakara Phase(The Human Transformation)

More realistic humans actions simulation in the platform and community decisions enforcements.

A Restoration Cycle

A restoration cycles are the iterative cycles to complete monuments restoration, developing platform and introducing governance tools.

  1. Each restoration cycle is estimated for 3 months(Subject to change and according to findings in Restoration Cycle 01 and complexity of restored location)
  2. Only one monument will be considered in each restoration cycle
  3. Total restoration cycles are 16. in addition another 2 cycles are considered for user experience enhancements.
  4. A typical Activities for each restoration cycle includes:

  8. Adding Game development features(User experience, gamifications, performance ,etc..)
  9. Adding Governance features(Staking, Voting, Delegations ,etc..)
