How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?
The journey of a thousand miles begins with a (first) single step. – Lao Tzu
Cardano is a huge idea that is executed seriously with careful planning and great effort on technicals to ensure that it is useful for many people in the whole world, for a long time.
Due to that nature, there are serious Cardano supporting people writing articles and documentations also in serious manner, especially with those seriously technical terms. That last part can be scary for most people, especially for those that are new to blockchain realm.
Lucky we have John Greene created this amazing book that serves as perfect intro for newbies to Cardano. The book is non-technical and also does not dive deep into any concepts of Cardano, that to be honest, can be a bit scary and dizzying. But it will be just enough for most people who just want to get to know Cardano. Perfect.
This project will convert this book (in term of the language) for the Indonesians native speakers. We are talking about almost 300 million population worldwide, with roughly only 10 percents that is comfortable speaking and/or reading in English. Take the rest of it, we still have the market of more than 100 million. And assume that there are only 10 percents of them buying the translated book, and yet only 10% converted to Cardano/ADA users, that will account of 1 million people.
1 million new users today is about additional 20% to the current ADA accounts presented in ADAStat. That is how strong Cardano blockchain will be bumped up. A significant number in improvement, based on a rather low anticipation in the result. Compare that to the amount of ADA requested for this project, only at 40,000 ADA, which results in only a tiny 0.04 ADA/user acquisition cost.
Would you agree to call this a <s>good</s> great value for money?
