This proposal was approved and funded by the Cardano Community via Project F6: Atala PRISM DID Mass-Scale Adoption Catalyst funding round.

Detailed Plan

This proposal relates to the specifics of the Win-Win Dispute Resolution Proposal ( <https://cardano.ideascale.com/a/dtd/Win-Win-Dispute-Resolution/368353-48088> ) and the more general identity management plugin of the blace.io marketplace creator ( <https://cardano.ideascale.com/a/dtd/368797-48088> ) in that mediators will be verified through Atala PRISM on the Cardano Blockchain to create trust - an essential hurdle to overcome in any marketplace.

Identity is one piece of the puzzle, another one to create trust is the verifiable certification of credentials. As SDKs of Atala PRISM are not yet public and various programs have different degrees and certificates, this part will be handled by an NFT and not through PRISM.

Success

We define success for this project at various stages as follows:

3 months

 • Identity management core plugin using Atala PRISM developed in blace.io
 • Said plugin deployed in Win-Win Dispute Resolution Marketplace to reliably identify mediators

6 months

 • 25% of living alumni of CSUDH's NCRP program verified and onboarded on Win-Win Dispute Resolution Marketplace

12 months

 • onboarded 3 more Universities
 • onboarded 1 Mediation Association
 • onboarded 1 city-run Mediation program

Budget

4 Full-Stack Developers (1 mo. each at $4000/mo.): $16000

Project Management : $2000

Business development : $2000

Third party technology cost (absorbed by other projects): $0

Total amount requested: $20000

In case funding exceeds the actual cost, funds will be set aside to allocate for the creation of additional DIDs in the future and increased business development work.

We expect the software to be ready by December 2021.

We are considering using an alternative technology to create the DIDs, so we can work on delivering the solution with this alternative techonology before PRISM is in production. We are going to talk to IOG and the community about this possibility.

Since last month, we are considering using an alternative technology to create the DIDs, so we can work on delivering the solution with this alternative techonology before PRISM is in production. We had a few discussion with ProofSpace team and used their technology in a different project. We are also talking to IOG to get more information about the readiness level of PRISM.
