In this phase we’ll build a simple solution to replace browser bookmarks, aggregate feeds and suggest micro-communities as an option to Cardano wallet user(s) and build next steps on top of that.

Problem

There isn’t much need for a non-commercial personal or micro-community social bookmarking and feed aggregator service. Blockchain networks are a perfect fit for this niche market.

Please describe your proposed solution

We'll start with a centralized solution which enables the end user to login with a Cardano wallet and sync state across devices.

With a simple and plain overview of bookmarks saved, we'll introduce a simple mechanism to create or join micro-community.

After that we'll try to prototype automated, private research bot(s) based on the bookmarked content and joined micro-communities.

In the very saturated Cardano DeFi ecosystem this project aims to build an engaging and relaxing community which doesn't care if it's bull or bear market.

With a general plan to build out this project through the upcoming bull market it should be well prepared to transition to a fully decentralized product utilizing the infrastructure part of the Cardano ecosystem.

The growing community will still be a growing community in the bear market.

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?

Aljosa (main applicant) is a senior developer with team lead and product owner experience, capable of building an end-to-end solution by himself.

He has extensive experience in both backend and frontend development and a strong focus on Python/Django and JavaScript/React.

What are the key milestones you need to achieve in order to complete your project successfully?

Milestone 1: Enable "Login with Cardano" with Cardano wallet, allow end users to save bookmarks.

Milestone outputs: Git repository with the code used to demonstrate and verify the intent

Acceptance criteria: End user can login with their Cardano wallet and do simple bookmarks management

Evidence of milestone completion: Video walk-through

Milestone 2: Allow end users to create & join micro-communities.

Milestone outputs: Git repository with the code, demo website

Acceptance criteria: End users can interact in their micro-communities

Evidence of milestone completion: Video walk-through

Milestone 3: Prototype automatic context discovery and do bot-based research to provide interesting insights and/or new content.

Milestone outputs: Updated git repository and demo website

Acceptance criteria: End users get an automated and interesting "next steps"

Final Milestone: Our goal is to have the final milestone dedicated to "Project Close-out Report and Project Close-out Video (PCR and PCV)".

All the resources will be used by developer to do the coding and related tasks (documentation, releases, etc.)

How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

If the project gains any momentum it will create an active community which will keep end users in Cardano ecosystem even during bear market.
