Solution

Allow cultural borders discovery by letting people claim land they feel attached to. Overlaps allowed!

Problem:

Nation states are mismatched with culture in many regions.

Detailed Plan

Hello!

I'm sorry that I didn't have time to elaborate more details on this proposal. I mainly submitted it to reach out to others interested in this domain. For now, I'm focused on this proposal:

<https://cardano.ideascale.com/a/dtd/SOIL-BITs/384198-48088>

Big Picture:

1. Create a token (BIT) that is issued to everyone at a constant rate (with proper PRISM credentials)

2. Create an open ideation platform (SOIL) where people can burn / lock this token to claim ownership of ideas.

3. Crowdsourcing semantic analysis, and a curated hierarchy of ideas used to design and manufacture many products should provide AI projects with heaps of usable data.

4. Watch how this replaces current IP laws with a collaborative Wikipedia of actionable knowledge, while funding a global basic income!

Details:

The BITs system is built on the idea of shared Commons, that can be claimed by everyone. One application is in resolving IP disputes cooperatively.

The other big Common that causes a lot of social friction is Land.

Could the principle of claiming ownership of real land lead to a more peaceful structure of overlapping regions, created bottom-up from individuals freely associating into groups, without hard borders? Living in regions claimed by multiple groups would require discussions between them, but should be way easier then current geopolitical disputes.
