Based on the CoinCashew SPO guilde, I intend to publish a diagram to visually document the SPO key creation process to aid understanding.

Problem:

Stake Pool cryptographic key creation and rotation procedures are difficult to understand, even for technically-adept operators.

This proposal was approved and funded by the Cardano Community via Project F7: Global Sustainable Indep. SPO's Catalyst funding round.

Detailed Plan

1. Create a diagram which visually documents the Stake Pool key creation process. Specifically, make it clear which keys (skey, vkey, addr, node, stake, kes, etc.) are used at different points in the process.

2. Create a set of scripts which follow the diagram, conveniently split into hot- and cold-node operations to help pool operators create and rotate their keys safely.

I expect the diagram + scripts to take a few days to assemble.

Expected work output: I will publish the diagram and scripts in a public forum, such as github or a Miro board.

Resources required to accomplish this project:

- 1 developer (me) * 15-30 hours of time.

- Somewhere to host the diagram

- Github to host the scripts
