Overview of Fetaverse
Although the food industry is expected to provide us with healthy meals with reliable raw ingredient sourcing, adulteration, wastage and profit prioritization are rampant in the Global Supply Chain management.
Fetachain is a decentralized end-to-end supply chain platform suite built on the proof-of-stake Cardano blockchain, by utilizing the combined capabilities of Internet of Things (IoT) sensors, Artificial Intelligent (AI) systems, Augmented Reality (AR) and Cloud technologies.
Blockchain is the backbone API that naturally tracks the information, owing to the unique feature of the extended UTXO model of Cardano.
The proposed system comprises IoT sensors directly logging information (processed) onto the blockchain via Cloud or IPFS.
The AI component of FetaChain enables the users to upload relevant supply chain information without explicit content creation via natural language processing.
This whole Fetaverse pipeline can be visualized using AR and VR technologies via mobile and web applications.
As a venture with a hybrid business model (B2B, B2C & D2C), we intend to showcase our solution by creating franchises, online stores and cloud kitchens with full transparency and sourcing reliability. FetaChain stands on the four pillars of the Industrial Revolution 4.0: Blockchain, IoT, AI, and Robotics. Fetachain aims to eliminate adulteration, wastage and profit prioritization in the global food supply chain industry.
Fund7 Development:
In this round of Catalyst funding, we are seeking to build the Proof-of-concept tracking using IoT and Blockchain integration. Real-time IoT data logging on the blockchain via cloud/IPFS will be undertaken to showcase the feasibility of the FetaTrace system, which is the foundational solution for our cloud kitchen venture and for other third-party services in the Fetaverse.
Breakdown of costs:
Build the Proof of Concept of the IoT-Blockchain component:
1. Hardware costs including IoT sensors - 3000 USD
2. Development costs for manpower - 10,000 USD
3. Cloud/IPFS infrastructure - 4000 USD
4. Administrative/registration costs - 3000 USD
Testnet deployment by Q1 2022 followed by mainnet by Q2 2022.
