[IMPACT]

Africa is a huge continent with many languages. Portuguese is the primary language in Cape Verde, Equatorial Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Sao Tome and Principe, Angola, and Mozambique. To grow Cardano in these countries is crucial to create educational content on topics as Blockchain for industry, Cryptocurrencies, and Cardano in their native language. We will offer an online free introductory course on Blockchain technologies and Cardano for African students and tech enthusiasts interested in this topic in Portuguese.

To grow the Cardano community across Africa, Africans need to be taught about Blockchain technology and how Cardano’s research projects align academic incentives with the cryptocurrency industry’s expectations.

The course will be offered on an online platform with free access and 10 hours of content. It will be disclosed on groups and social media to reach Africans who speak Portuguese and are interested in Blockchain technology.

The students will understand the state of the art of Blockchain, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Cardano. They will learn the principles of these topics and see some use cases. Moreover, They will understand how this technology can provide solutions in the supply chain, data management, healthcare, and others. They will be encouraged to dive into the Cardano ecosystem.

The result will be a collective engagement on Cardano and Blockchain by students and technology enthusiasts who aim to be part of this progress. These students will be multipliers of this technology and have the potential to be engaged in future academic and industrial applications.

The risk is minimal. The lecturers are highly qualified for the work as they are Physics Professors and Bachelors in Science. The content will be available online and with free access. The students and anyone interested in the topic will access the contents. The course will be disclosed to the African community interested in technology.
