According to Statitsta.com, venture capital investments amounted to 12.74 billion U.S. dollars in the internet industry in the United States as of third quarter 2020.
Project Catalyst aims to attract entrepreneurs that currently go to VCs for funding. Can you imagine what those entrepreneurs what do if they would know there is an alternative that 1. doesn't take a stake in their business and 2. is lead by a decentralized community?
They would, of course, try Catalyst to fund their project/early stage startup.It's a no brainer.
Problem is that they don't know Project Catalyst exists (they might not even know Cardano exists).
So, the first step is to get them to know about this new funding alternative called Project Catalyst and how to apply. For that I will build a digital platform where people can go and learn about Catalyst. Tutorials showing step by step how to fund submit proposal, how to interact with the community, videos showing success stories of other teams that have been already funded in Project Catalyst.
The platform will be called WhyCardano.org and will grow, in future phases, to offer more courses and tutorials about Smart Contracts, DApps, Marlowe, Plutus and more.
