Detailed Plan

Growing inequality in the data economy is the result of the lack of infrastructure for data creators, whether that data is from their bodies in a healthcare setting or from their minds in a software IP setting, to monetize their own data. Laborers in a data economy are particularly vulnerable to exploitation, because unlike physical products contributors, whose products are used up and create further demand, data creators do not continue to benefit from their labor, and tend to sell it once and its done, or even give it away . They may even realize its worth but give it away because there is no infrastructure which incentivize viable business models where they are compensated.

Rejuve, a spin-off company from singularity net, has a tokenomics plan that will provide the infrastructure in which people can own their data products, and be compensated for every use in a proportionate way. We are working with Cardano on two new kinds of NFT, the data NFT and the product NFT, to apply to the Rejuve ecosystem, so that contributors of health data continue to have full control over their data and will be able to gain a proportionate profit in any products that data contributed to, forever. Our proposal is to expand this to IP products as well, so that data scientists and software developers can own and be paid for their data models in proportion to their use in end products, starting with Rejuve, but applicable to any modern data company.

We propose a general IP model for NFTs and a way to ensure in a fail safe manner that the smart contracts can do what they claim for the equitable compensation of workers in a free market. We propose the use of coevolutionary social simulation to model social effects, to augment the Singularity Net intelligent agent programs so as to incentivize participation under fair compensation, and to present a market where consumers can state their preferences for products based on measurably equitable compensation.

NFTs are the ideal carrier to address growing inequity, because they can capture the ownership of all or our unique and non-fungible contributions to the data economy. The Cardano Data NFT will allow data to be leased but not bought and will keep track of what products data and software has permission to be used in. This is in contrast to present NFTs which are purchased and not leased. The distributed ledger facilitates the implementation of new leasing models that better protect the data contributor, so that data contributors can reap the benefits that their labor has made possible in perpetuity. The Cardano Product NFT points to the proportionate data contribution of each product and automates the compensation of the data contributor with each sale of the product. Thus a software or data model contributor to Rejuve, for example, will get a few cents for one run or use and a few dollars for another run or use , in proportion to its marginal contribution to the product, as measured by our AI assignment of credit algorithms.

This would help Cardano, because all sorts of software developers who want creative freedom and autonomy that their present hierarchically structured companies can not give them would flock to a market with an infrastructure that respected them and their creations.

What do SingularityNet's technologies make possible?

Singularity Net makes possible the combination of blockchain, a social incentive system to create new decentralized organizations of social relationships, with AI, to measure the success of these new social organizations. This proposal uses this principle to redesign markets through AI monitoring of blockchain's distributed ledger and AI monitoring of equitable distribution of products in this market.

How and where can AI + Cardano benefit society?

We can promote social good through infrastructure change, the market infrastructure and the capacity to foresee the consequences of the smart contract rules on social institutions before they are launched.

**Qualifications of Principal Investigator

I am the CTO of a Singularity Spinoff for social good, Rejuve. I have a doctorate in Computational Science and 30 years' experience in AI for social science. I wrote the first agent based social simulation in 1991, published in Behavioral Science and featured in The Economist. I have worked on Micro Macro Integration of human psychology and human institutions throughout these years, particularly in my SISTER simulation (Symbolic Interactionist Simulation of Trade and Emergent Roles) which I have rewritten at Singularity net as the Singularity Net Simulation and will use as the base simulation for this project.
