Vision

An eternal metaverse tournament where your CNFTs compete for glory and epic CNFT rewards. Players get to select fighters and moves for daily fights that compose weekly, monthly and yearly tournaments. The community can follow combat results and tournament updates in app, Twitter and Discord with the use of announcer bots. Simple and transparent combat systems with high risk and high reward options encourage the use of mind games on social media. Win fights and tournaments to unlock content and features such as power ups, elite tournaments and other unique rewards! Show off and customize your experience with custom intro music from the CNFT community, move names, taunts, emojis and attack effects. Watch out! If you lose in a final, the winner might be able to lay down some permanent punishment!

Why should you consider this project for funding?

The project hits most of the challenge metrics very efficiently by leveraging mobile and social media integration. Technologies that are used are accessible and established. We do not even need smart contracts or even need to tackle hard Cardano technical issues. We can build a quality app that can reach an audience with the existing technology. When this is is achieved and as the Cardano ecosystem matures we can evolve the solution to achieve greater decentralization.

  1. Community Participants / Players : Connect to Twitter and see results from yesterday through the Twitter announcer bot account.

  2. Community participants / Players : Click links on Twitter to look at different game results for players that they like. Link leads to our public and free animated game viewer. Later in development, animated game results could be rendered as videos and embedded directly in Twitter posts.

  3. Community participants / Players receive a new Twitter or in app notification about the semi final players for the day. Information on who they are and their stats are available.

  4. Community participants / Players know that players have the day to analyze their opponents and choose their moves carefully. Game enthusiasm is sustained over a 24 hour period.

  5. Community participants hyped about his favourite player potentially winning the tournament.

  6. Player A opens the mobile app or a web browser to prepare for the semi final fight. Player authenticates with Google (or other similar) and reaches the daily fight dashboard.

  7. Player A inspects the daily next fight dashboard. He is presented with his available moves and customization options as simple buttons. Example : Player A needs to select an attack move and a defence move. For the attack, he can choose between "Strike" and "Sneak attack". He is shown some basic damage simulation for each of these moves. For the defence move he can choose between "Defensive stance" and "Watchful riposte" and get similar statistical information. He also has buttons to select associated, taunt, emoji or visual special for both the attack move and defence move.

  8. Player A determines on his strategy. He decides to go with "sneak attack" : a riskier less predictable move in his opinion. He also selects taunts that he knows his fans will like. He also selects an emote that he thinks will trigger his opponent's fan base on Twitter. Player A is a top troll.

  9. Player A goes on Twitter to tease his opponent.

  10. CNFTCommunity participants watch players start playing mind games with each other on Twitter. They get excited and start participating in the competitive banter!

  11. CNFTCommunity participants / Players excitedly await the results in app or on Twitter.

  12. Twitter Announcer Bot reveals combat results at a specific time at the end of the day. Combat results are viewable through the animated game viewer.

  13. Community Participants / Players watch the semi-final result matches.

  14. Twitter engagement is at an all time high in anticipation for the final match tomorrow!

CNFT Partnerships

<u>Main partnership: zAmbiez</u>
The Eternal Tournament will be released in partnership with z₳mbiez project owned by Harry Esquivel (z₳mbieKing). zAmbiez is a fast growing audience, respected as a high quality PFP project with respected leadership guiding it's roadmap. The partnership is mutually beneficial. The Eternal Tournament will add utility to z₳mbiez's PFP collections; z₳mbiez will add artistic appeal and exposure of its existing community to the game.

Anticipated game main characters are Mini Ninja Heroes (MNH) collection characters and z₳mbiez collection characters. These characters may also be used in game menus, tutorials, and promotional material. Harry Esquivel will remain full owner of all z₳mbiez related characters.

Game design will support combat between any CNFT from the MNH and z₳mbiez collections. Both collections will remain the face of the game and adapted for play through successive iterations. Future partners may also be onboarded, using their collections as tournament participants and game rewards.

Fast efficient and highly integrated way of building multi platform apps. The team has experience building with this stack and is confident that it can quickly iterate new versions.

This stack is perfect for building this app-style type of game.

Not needed for this stage. CNFT ownership validation does not require smart contracts.

Building a working game client with centralized game logic is sufficient for early stages. See lite paper for more details on this idea.
