Detailed Plan

CONTEXT

Environmental & social challenges are increasingly crucial. Achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030 requires $5 to $7 trillion annually (Source: Stanford Social Review: https://ssir.org/articles/entry/almost_everything_you_know_about_impact_investing_is_wrong#))

Problem

However, impact projects lack both funding and appropriate tools / support to succeed.

Solution

We are currently developing a launchpad called Cardashift to source, tokenize, mentor, fund and accelerate impact projects (not listed on Catalyst) as financially viable investments.

Opportunity for Catalyst

On the other hand, Catalyst is the only source for Cardano projects to emerge. It offers an opportunity for impact projects to access the blockchain ecosystem. However, impact project founders very often lack expertise and know-how to leverage blockchain technologies/communities on Catalyst.

Our Catalyst F7 application aims to build a Bridge between Catalyst resource pools with Cardashift.

GOALS

Q1 - Q2 2022

Successful Outcome: Run a pilot to make up to 3 Catalyst impact start-ups financially viable investments within 9 months

Objective: Mentor, tokenize and accelerate up to 3 Catalyst impact projects while developing them into financially viable investments

Milestone #1: Develop the Cardashift-Catalyst Bridge

Milestone #2: Open the first cohort of applications for impact projects

Milestone #3: Onboard upto 3 Catalyst impact projects within our selection process

Milestone #4: Realize successful IDOs for all of them

TARGET DEMOGRAPHIC

We target project matching all those criterias:

 • Catalyst or Cardashift impact projects
 • Early-stage
 • From any geographic regions
 • Aligned to one or more of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals from the United Nations

ACTION PLAN

Step #1: We introduce CLAP, a utility token based on ADA, specifically to fuel impact projects

Step #2: We release the Cardashift launchpad. At the same time, we launch the Cardashift-Catalyst Bridge

Step #3: We invite and connect Catalyst impact founders to Cardashift via the Bridge

Step #4: We open the first cohort of applications for impact projects

Step #5: We score and select up to 3 Catalyst impact projects

Step #6: We accompany and pre-fund the chosen impact projects in order to de-risk them within 1 and 3 months

Step #7: We carry out successful IDOs for chosen Catalyst impact projects

Step #8: We accelerate them for 6 months to help them to reach product/market fit

ROADMAP

Sep 2021 - Jan 2022: Launchpad Beta Development

Jan 2022: ICO and CLAP token release

Feb 2022: Launchpad Beta release and open-call for impact project applications

Feb 2022: Cardashift-Catalyst Bridge release

Mar 2022: Selection round for batch #1 Catalyst Impact projects (3-5 projects)

Apr 2022 - Jun 2022: Catalyst impact projects batch #1: mentoring & pre-funding before IDO

Jul 2022: IDOs

Jul 2022 - Dec 2022: Acceleration for 6 months until product/market fit is reached

PERFORMANCE METRICS

 1. Number of impact projects sourced by Cardashift to Catalyst to build a successful Catalyst impact projects portfolio
 2. Number of impact projects from Catalyst accelerated through Cardashift
 3. Number of successful IDOs

SKILLS REQUIRED

The skills required to see this proposal through are as follows:

 1. Bridge Design: Product design, UX/UI design
 2. Bridge Development: Technical architecture, Front and Backend development.
 3. Bridge Launch: Community Management

BUDGET BREAKDOWN

$75.000 in total

 • 15% product design (15 man-days)
 • 55% development (50 man-days)
 • 30% communication (45 man-days)
