PRToken is a platform that allows any developers to find open bounties, participate in the repositories that matter to you, and contribute to solving some of humanity’s most pressing coordination problems.

Every approved and merged Pull Requests will be minted on the blockchain(Cardano) and reward you with Skill NFTs, showcase your NFT on your profile or embed to Github, and get recognized by the industry.

Access to exclusive hackathons, invite-only repositories, or projects, online courses, private discord channels, or special rates for different tools and events by holding NFTs.

Our goal is to provide a community-supported sustainable financial model through web3 technologies (including blockchain, DAOs, etc.), forming a virtuous circle for builders.

[IMPACT] Please describe how your proposed solution will address the Challenge that you have submitted it in.

The proposed solution is to foster developers(established or new) to contribute to open-source projects and create more opportunities for open-source developers to earn an additional passive income, gain unique valuable skills and experience when contributing. With the NFTs as a token to access to hackathons, events, and private discord channels, allowing companies to access to developers with guaranteed of specific skills of their request. PRToken is open to every developer regardless of their background and location.

[IMPACT] What are the main risks that could prevent you from delivering the project successfully and please explain how you will mitigate each risk?

Resource and financial support, although we have a passionate team, but we definitely still need developers(Haskell) to work on the smart contract part, although we can slowly bootstrap but it will take longer, we need designers to improve the design, UX, designing NFTs of each skill etc, we need distribute some tokens to partners to train them and guide them to use this platform.

What we have done

We have a working MVP, where user can connect their Github account, sync Issues, pull requests, and activites with our platform.
You can assign ADA bounties with each issues, assign to someone, add lables and all these information are automatically sync to Github.
We have added Yoroi wallet integration where you can transact ADA and bundle with NFT through our platform(currently testnet)

What we want to do next

We want to add smart contract to each issue when an bounty was assigned.
Improve yoroi wallet integration such as showing skills NFTs earned by the user.
Partnering 20 companies or projects distributing ADA for them to test out
We are also working on a campaign call "Do your first contribution and earn NFTs" we will airdrop 100 ADA * 10 users from these pioneer users.

We need 1 developer to work on the smart contract part planning for 3 months (3000 * 3)
We need 1 developer to improve the wallet integration, improving the experience of transactions (3000 *3)
We need a designer to improve the overall UX and designing skills NFTs (3000 * 3)
We need a marketer to write articles, promote the project, and sell to companies (3000 *3)
We want to distribute tokens to repo owners to test the system, 100 ADA * 20 company
We want to airdrop users at 100 ADA * 10

Total: 39,000 for 3 months

Yes, we will be back for other collaborations, we need to add more features to the product in next round, catalyst is also a good place to collaborate and get advice which also help us pivot our project.

[AUDITABILITY] Please describe what you will measure to track your project's progress, and how will you measure these?

We track the user counts and activities(transactions) happening in our platform as our key metrics.

[AUDITABILITY] What does success for this project look like?

We are looking at users activities as key metrics, we want to bring in a 1000 new users(developers established or new) within this 3 month if we got the funded.
We want to make sure that we have at least 20 companies using the system with at least 2 transactions.
