[IMPACT] Please describe your proposed solution.

According to WHO, more than a quarter of the world’s adult population (1.4 billion adults) are insufficiently active such as exercise, and physical activity. Especially, there has been no improvement in global levels of physical activity since 2001.

It leads to many health problems after the pandemic. A study published in the journal Blood Advances showed that blood clotting risk is 4 times greater in long COVID patients who can’t exercise.

Market issues:

  • Mental and physical health are impacted by social pressure and Covid-19.
  • Lack of a healthy lifestyle.
  • Lack of motivation to do exercise.
  • Bad eating habits cause diseases such as gout, diabetes, and blood lipids.

Solutions:

HealthFi is a comprehensive health care app that personalizes exercise and nutrition plans for users, from children to the elderly, regardless of gender or age. Our three main goals:

  • Changing user habits, creating a new era of healthcare through blockchain and Web3.0.
  • Building a social-fi community connecting people around the world sharing the same opinion about personal health care.
  • Digitizing healthcare in the metaverse such as coaching online.

To achieve these goals, HealthFi is developed in three phases, including:

Phase 1: Move-to-Plant

This is HealthFi's first version targeting the most mainstream users, so users can join Move-to-earn or Move-to-Plant by jogging anywhere, anytime. The goals of this phase are:

  • Creating a charity running activity combine with planting trees for the community and protecting the environment.
  • Building a community that loves running to use the app, attracting investors by an off-chain running app connecting with blockchain technology.
  • Collecting users database of running community, thereby spreading the healthy spirit to attract new users.

Phase 2: Coach-to-earn

In this phase, HealthFi expands its sports activities such as swimming, cycling, etc. Integrating with smartwatches to read and record health data onto the blockchain system. Hence HealthFi will add professional coaches in different activities to guide users with specific personal plans that fit their physical conditions. The goals of this phase are:

  • Attracting expert users who are trainers (swimming, cycling, yoga…) to build a standard exercise system. Then classify Coaches using an accurate voting/ranking system.
  • Create a fast scale-up affiliate marketing system with Coaches who are the most active product marketers by rewarding tokens, NFTs, and merchandise.

Phase 3: Heathier-to-earn

In phase 3, using available data and working with experts to come up with suitable exercises and nutrition plans, improve health and physical condition for all users at every age. Goals at this phase:

  • Continue to expand the user base to all sports, including nutrition perspective.
  • Extensive nutrition menu databases created by users.

Phase 4: Healthcare in Metaverse

At this stage, HealthFi expands to develop into a super app that cooperates with healthcare partners to provide nutritional services and products to all users.

As a multichain application, HealthFi easily accesses a wide range of customers.

HealthFi motivates users to exercise passionately. In Phase 1, we will focus on hosting Move to Plant events to accomplish the goals.

This action is not only marketing but also our application development direction throughout the stages. We believe specific rewards in tokens and gifts will strongly attract more users. Phase 1 aims to have around 50,000 installs with 10,000 monthly active users. Users will gradually get used to cryptocurrencies in general and Cardano in particular.

We are confident that the physical activities we create will help users change their life habits. Furthermore, we want to create a society of users that compete with each other and help each other improve their healthy lifestyles.

Unlike our competitors, who are traditional healthcare apps, we believe we can build a transparent database to help users achieve the best results by combining blockchain and gamification into one business model.

[IMPACT] What are the main risks that could prevent you from delivering the project successfully and please explain how you will mitigate each risk?

There are many possible problems with HealthFi similar to traditional apps, and we will also face trusted problems related to the blockchain market. To reduce the risk, we are determined to reach a specific set of users as quickly as possible, using incentive and affiliate programs to increase active users.

Another risk is that small investors often focus on immediate benefits, while HealthFi is a project with a long-term vision of up to 10 years with a specific roadmap associated with exercise and health care activities, which people must maintain for the rest of their lives. So we will choose strategic investors with a long-term vision.

  1. Vuong Tuan Anh:
  • 10+ years of experience in the Medtech field,
  • Worked at the Ministry of Science and Technology, Hanoi Department of Health, Dong Da General Hospital and participated in building a management software system for the hospital.
  • Tuan Anh is in charge of product development orientation and ensuring HealthFi will follow the roadmap.
  • Manage the software system and server of the Department of Medical Service Administration - Ministry of Health.

As an above roadmap, whether we are funded or not, we will come back to apply for the next round as this is a long-term project that requires support from a strong community.

We have an updated roadmap on our whitepaper and website, and any updates will be clearly visible on the app. We also have updated progress every Friday for 2 weeks for the community on update.healthfi.io.
