Detailed Plan

OLON gallery will be a physical gallery where CNFTs will be displayed in a variety of ways ie frames, displays, holograms, etc. In addition, it will be a community hub for any local artists or art lovers who want to learn about NFTs. Workshops will be held and be available for anyone to attend, hosting digital artists, fine artists and technology spokespersons introducing CNFTs and the benefits of blockchain technology in art. Due to the infinite creativity of NFTs we will be approaching universities and art schools to offer internships on curating some of our exhibitions.

OLON gallery provides a unique opportunity to create access to blockchain technology, unlocking demographics that previously have not interacted with cryptocurrency or blockchains.

Access to Artists and Curators

We already have been working and established a network of artists (Non NFT artists, CNFT creators, NFT creators from other blockchains) who we would be able to get onboard as soon as the gallery plans move forward.

We have access to a network of physical art buyers who we would be able to leverage with the gallery. Once OLON gallery is open we will invite those gallerists and collectors, while organizing a social media campaign to attract the spotlights.

The art world is always curious and open, we just have to ease their fear of the new unknown by educating them and offering a simple, easy introduction. Who better to do that than individuals that have already been part of London's art community?

Awesome Art Displays

The signature characteristic of OLON gallery is the impressive futuristic display of the NFTs.

We already are in talks with companies providing digital frames and displays. There are many options such as ones which give a feeling of physical art to the pieces and bridge the gap between the metaverse and our space. By presenting to our visitors how the art will actually be displayed in their home/company wall, they can drop the false question of why should someone buy a jpg!

Another display option we are researching is holographic projection. The use of hologram setting can lead to a more immersive experience for the viewer. Considering the creativity of NFT world and the emergence of VR art, we might be seeing new art forms presented in holographic or immersive media.

In addition, we present the opportunity to all the display vendors to be sponsors of OLON gallery. What better way for them to display their technology if not by sponsoring a NFT gallery.

Location, Location, Location

We are looking for an area that will match the demographic of our viewers. We want visitors to have easy access to the gallery and locate it easily. Areas such as Shoreditch, a gathering place for street artists/contemporary galleries or Bond Street in central London with more established commercial galleries, are good choices. A space with access from the ground floor, on a big street close to a tube station would be ideal.

Spaces in Shoreditch come with a high price, since this is an artistic neighborhood, but they come with the advantage of being more central and art specific which reduces the need for more advertisement.

Cost Analysis

Initial draft of costs.

Equipment: It depends on the frames/displays will be selected and the discounts we will get. Approximately 20 frames x 800GBP= 16,000GBP.

Rent: Mainly depends on the location, but a broad range from suitable spaces we have already seen will be from 3,000GBP to 5,000GBP per month. Thus it can be up to 30,000GBP for 6 months.

Operational costs for 6 months:

 • Rent deposit 4,000GBP
 • Business rates 8,000GBP
 • Electricity bills 2,400GBP
 • Wages 12GBP per hour x 6hours x 30days x 6months = 12,960GBP

27,360GBP

Revenues

Our plan to make OLON gallery self-sustainable.

 • Charge a competitive commission on the sales. Our main aim is to grow the ecosystem.
 • Online Cardano marketplaces will have the option to hire some of the frames/holograms to display their art in a physical space.
 • Our futuristic venue will be able to be hired for private events/filming etc
 • A shop selling NFT oriented merchandise of our hosted artists (t-shirts with printed NFTs, mugs, etc)
 • An entry NFT ticket for specific exhibitions.
 • We could work on creating our own digital frames which will be sold with the NFTs.

Challenges

Operating a physical gallery comes with a few challenges:

 • What if the space is inaccebile? Our website will be hosting an exact virtual 3d model of our gallery, thus our visitors will still be able to wander around. The artwork and the merchandise will still be available to be purchased via our online shop. We hope the sales will be enough to cover the expenses.
 • The worst case scenario is for the art not being sold and zero interest on hiring the space for any events. We firmly believe that a physical presence to the NFT world is paramount. With the experience and networking gathered in six months of operations, we will have what it takes to continue the presence of Olon Gallery via pop up exhibitions, at least for a limited time.

Infinite Creativity

Since we will have digital frames and holograms, nothing is limiting us to display only one exhibition at a time!

We have the opportunity to present more than one curated exhibition every day with a large number of works. We have unlimited options for works that can be shown for more time/permanent parts of the exhibitions, and others that will be switching more often.

Of course this creates possibilities to a new generation of curators. We have the opportunity to invite different curators from time to time to organize the exhibitions. We want to approach young creatives, who would like to show their imagination and potential. We could partner with universities and art schools and offer internships on curating.

We believe that Cardano can change the world. We know that NFTs are the future of art. We are prepared to become part of that future now and gather all the wonderful, creative minds inside and outside of Cardano to unfold their potential.

Roadmap (WIP)

 • 0 months. We have a launch artists' shortlist, access to potential collectors and a motivated team with pedigree for success.
 • 3 months. Gallery is up and running and we have done the launch event.
 • 6 months. We have onboarded 60 new artists, sold 100 pieces and have onboarded 600 users.
 • 12 months. We are part of London art scene, we host popular NFT events, private events with hundreds of visitors. We sold 1,000 fine art pieces and have onboarded thousands users.

Where we stand now

 • We already have a list of artists willing to exhibit and be represented by our gallery.
 • We have initiated discussions with a couple of companies selling frames/displays.
 • We have checked real estate spaces and we have found a couple fit our selection criteria.
