[SOLUTION] Please describe your proposed solution.

In order to ensure the participation of the Brazilian community in Cardano's governance layer, we intend to act on several fronts.

1 Education - We will create a newsletter/feed of content related to governance. This content will be created from:

  • Translations of articles related to governance;
  • Creation of articles on governance specific to the context of the Brazilian Cardano community.
  • Creation of videos related to governance, tutorials for vote delegation, debates, analysis of governance actions.

2 Awareness - In order to disseminate content and research, we will create a brand that is aligned with the principles of the local community. We will create profiles on different social media to promote content in a user-friendly manner in order to attract newcomers and increase the base of community members active in governance and distribution decision-making, which is essential to promote Cardano decentralization.

  • Parcerias com criadores de conteúdo para divulgação do projeto
  • Copywritting focado no engajamento social e catalisar a participação da comunidade brasileira na governança.
  • Edição de vídeos e transcrição.
  • Search Engine Optmization(SEO)

3 Governance Research

The work of DReps and Catalyst DReps will be essential for Cardano's governance to be successful, so we will dedicate many hours to research work, so that all governance actions are identified, studied, debated with the community and voted on in a consensual manner. For governance actions that involve technical changes, we will consult experts in order to support our decisões.

4 Catalyst Research

In order to increase community participation in Project Catalyst voting stages, we will establish a framework to analyze proposals on key challenges and themes that are aligned with the interests and values of the Cardano community in Brazil. We will share analysis of proposals that are aligned with community interests and encourage participation in Catalyst quotes, through voting delegation or incentives for individual voting.

5 Incentivos para Bootstrap

Vamos criar um modelo de incentivos/recompensas para estimular a participação da comunidade no processo de governança

[CAPABILITY & FEASIBILITY] What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability? How do you intend to validate if your approach is feasible?

The Ágora Cardano Brasil project was founded based on feedback from the Brazilian Cardano community itself. We carried out an exploratory community sensing stage in order to identify key areas of action in the Voltaire Era and in Cardano's governance. This exploratory stage originated through the "DReps LATAM - Brasil - Exploration & Community Sensing" proposal, funded in Project Catalyst Fund10.

Through this previous proposal we created the Manifesto Cardano Brasil , a project that is under development and we have already captured great interest from the community to participating in governance.

The Ágora Cardano team has already been involved in Project Catalyst since Fund2. We have provided education to dozens of members of the Brazilian community on different aspects of the Voltaire Era, CIP-1694, Project Catalyst and Intersect.

We also have extensive experience as reviewers and moderators on Catalyst, having participated in hundreds of proposal reviews on Catalyst and with several assessments/reviews of excellent quality.

CONTINGENCY COSTS (5%)

[VALUE FOR MONEY] How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

The purpose of this project is to bootstrap and leverage the governance layer in the Brazilian community.

With the implementation of CIP-1694 it is essential that the governance process becomes decentralized and this proposal seeks to increase the decentralization of decision-making in relation to decisions on governance actions and serve as a model for future DReps who intend to participate in the community.

Much of the work involved in this proposal is to create content for the Portuguese-speaking community. When we think about the governance context, little content is available in languages other than English, we will only be able to achieve mass adoption and decentralization of the Cardano protocol if non-English speaking communities have access and understanding of what is being created.

Costs and hourly rates were established based on average international market standards
