Please describe your proposed solution.

The Morphium is an existing long term project brought forward by Huth S0lo, Chase, and Karl Kotas. Our team members have worked on numerous projects, including Digital Syndicate, Cardano Budz, and several others.

Earlier this year, we launched our MVP of The Morphium Casino, which is a fully native Cardano casino. It supports Ada, and can support any other native token on the blockchain. Currently we have written a slot machine, and blackjack. Both are currently playable here: https://dapp.themorphium.io/games

We have a number of games we plan to introduce over time. But there is an overwhelming request from the community to develop a Texas HoldEm game. Many NFT based projects leverage the community aspect of card games to increase their community presence. Texas Holdem serves this purpose well. Many today are leveraging other platforms for this need; but none have any direct tie ins to the Cardano ecosystem.

How does your proposed solution address the challenge and what benefits will this bring to the Cardano ecosystem?

Our proposal adds another avenue for engagement within the robust Cardano Community.

How do you intend to measure the success of your project?

Success will be measured by the delivery of this solution. Because Texas Holdem isnt a novel game, its success will be hinged on delivering a game that functions like any other online casino, but allows for playing with Ada and Native Tokens.

Please describe your plans to share the outputs and results of your project?

We expect to have a working product on the Preprod network within 3 months of the proposals acceptance. Over the next several weeks, after validating functionality, and verifying game mechanics, we would make it available on Mainnet.

What is your capability to deliver your project with high levels of trust and accountability?

Because of our existing experience in this arena, delivering on this proposal should be considered guaranteed for success.

What are the main goals for the project and how will you validate if your approach is feasible?

This proposal has a singular goal that should be easy to validate once it is ready for our beta testing. The feasibility is assured, since the concept isnt novel, and only requires the innovation of mechanics that cater to the Cardano Ecosystem.

Please provide a detailed breakdown of your project’s milestones and each of the main tasks or activities to reach the milestone plus the expected timeline for the delivery.

1) Create database structure to support a multi player card game

2) Compile a Texas Holdem code base that uses standard card game rules

3) Integrate our existing cashier to intake, and output players casino funds

4) Create APIs needed for web integration

5) Produce MVP web interface for Texas Holdem, that leverages our existing wallet based authentication system

6) Beta Test application

7) Deliver final product

Please describe the deliverables, outputs and intended outcomes of each milestone.

Upon initial beta testing, the Texas Holdem interface would become available to the public, functioning on Preprod. This would mark the penultimate deliverable. After beta testing, and patching, product would be made available on Mainnet.

$25,000 - All funds would be used to support the developers costs of living, while producing this application.

How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

To date, The Morphium has been fully developed internally, at our own costs. As such, our MVP is fully functional, but needs funding to be further grown. All monies are to offset our personal costs for labor.
