Typhon Wallet Mobile App

[IMPACT] Please describe your proposed solution.

Cardano users have been waiting for a mobile wallet for a long time, there is a lot of demand for mobile wallets as it is much easier and more secure to access than a web or desktop app. The primary goal of our project is to create a non-custodial mobile wallet that supports all of Cardano's light wallet's features,

This wallet app will be accessible to all Cardano users since it will be developed for both Android and iOS. Many users use and appreciate Typhon wallet, which is already available as a web app and Chrome extension, for its user-friendliness and the special features it offers. The mobile wallet will be developed in the same manner, by being integrated natively into the platforms to offer users a seamless experience.

Implementation:

The mobile app will be built natively which will serve its build for both Android and IOS. Also, we will be using the open-source libraries which are being used in Typhon Wallet and other Cardano projects.

[IMPACT] Please describe how your proposed solution will address the Challenge that you have submitted it in.

By lowering the barrier to entry for users to DApps, Defi marketplaces, and much more, a user-friendly mobile wallet promotes adoption by offering an alternative to the current solutions. The entire ecosystem will benefit from mobile app integrations with current services and protocols because users will have more viable alternatives.

[IMPACT] What are the main risks that could prevent you from delivering the project successfully and please explain how you will mitigate each risk?

There is a complexity to supporting dApp integration from mobile wallets, this complexity might delay the support for dApps but the mobile wallet will be delivered without any risk. We have already done some POCs to confirm our approach for the mobile wallet development.

The development will take about 6 months to complete.

1 Cardano Eng: 1 x 85,000 = 85,000

[FEASIBILITY] If you are funded, will you return to Catalyst in a later round for further funding? Please explain why / why not.

The team will continue to update and add new features to the Typhon Wallet Mobile App as necessary and as long as needed without further funding. We will go back to Catalyst for additional funding if there are material changes to Cardano that have an impact on the wallet's core functions and demand a significant amount of resources.

[AUDITABILITY] Please describe what you will measure to track your project's progress, and how will you measure these?

The finished product will be made available in the iOS App store and Android Play store, and incremental updates will be regularly released. The number of downloads and amount of interactions made with the app is a main determinant of a project's success.

[AUDITABILITY] What does success for this project look like?

The entire Cardano community will have access to a user-friendly mobile app wallet and be able to conduct most blockchain, DApp, and other interactions. The project would be successful if it was made available in the Android/IOS app store and more users downloaded and used it.
