Decentralized Investment.

NFTs could be minted as a deed or proof of ownership of a particular realworld asset. The NFT itself and/or a smart contract could be drawn up allowing for the NFTs fractionalization. This would introduce parameters such as a potential hardcap on the number of fractions available, what portion of value returns to the NFT deed holder on resale, etc.

In the case of businesses, for example, investment could be realised in a variety of ways, but functionally it would be similar to DeFi. Investors do their own research on potential investments, add liquidity (for the NFT holding business) to the respective pool and in return receive pool tokens / child NFTs and percentage ownership of the pool. This would grant the token holder a liquid asset that earns yield on transaction fees from secondary trading, etc, in proportion to their total ownership of the pool with the potential for appreciation over time.

Business NFT holders could tap into the liquity provided by these investors in a secure and transparent way with checks and balances like collatorization to fund growth or maintain the health of their business.

Funds would be used to explore proof of concept over a 3-6 month time frame.
