<u>Sum up/TLDR - 'elevator pitch' style</u>
Polish Cardano Center is supposed to become the ultimate solution to learn about Cardano and to participate in Cardano for Polish-speaking users. We are going to build a thorough website covering news and educational articles, supported by already existent social media pages. We are going to focus on local marketing initiatives to help bring Cardano to the masses.
<u>Detailed description</u>
According to World Almanac and Book of Facts, around 44 million people speak Polish as a native tongue. 2017 research showed that as much as 10% of Polish citizens knew the term "Bitcoin" and "cryptocurrencies" 4 years ago, and since then the local market has risen substantially. 2021 Assay Index survey proved that over 13% of Polish people find cryptocurrencies as the most interesting investment type. Poland also ranks among top 10 countries hosting the highest number of cryptocurrency ATMs. Yet Cardano stays under the radar. There are only around 4000 members in Cardano-related Polish social media pages and Polish posts on forum.cardano.org cannot get more than a couple hundred hits. What's our idea on how to change that?
We want to build a complete Poland Cardano Center. A place where people with different levels of knowledge meet and find valuable sources of information. Where everyone can learn new things: may it be 'what wallet do I need for Cardano assets', 'what is proof-of-stake' or rather 'how to build your own smart contract on Cardano' - in general learn about possibilities Cardano is offering. Where people can freely share their ideas, thoughts and concerns.
<u>Our kind of online hub will consist of:</u>
1. Webpage with articles covering current Cardano-related news, basic blockchain educational pieces, descriptions and researches of projects based on Cardano, onchain data based on 'Cardano Blockchain Insights' and more,
2. Cardano & blockchain related podcasts published also on existing YouTube channel

<u>Budget:</u>
1. Server + domain (1y) ~$200
2. Suitable theme with customized graphics (logo, buttons etc.) ~$250 (could be done as a community contest to find secret "gems" - freelancers) + website development/consultations ~$1000
3. Articles:
- translations $0.02 per word, average length of article 1000 words = $20; 3 articles a week ~ $60; per month ~$240; per 6 months ~$1440 (+ free 'guest articles' by Cardano Ambassador, news pieces thanks to cooperation with local crypto news outlet BeInCrypto.pl)
- original pieces $0.03 per word, occasionally, ~4 per month ~$120, per 6 months $720
- our aim is to activate current Cardano Community members to become not only readers but creators themselves.
4. Podcasts: 1 professional podcast per 2 weeks, with guests (experts, community members, developers), published on already known YouTube channel + Spotify + Apple, Google Podcasts and more, sometimes with rewards for listeners: ~$200; 2 per month, around 10 per 6 months ~$2000
5. Cardano merchandise (like stickers, pens, T-shirts) to incentivise our community moderators tirelessly working pro-bono and encourage new members to be active - quizzes, Kahoots, livestreams (Telegram, Twitter, Discord, YouTube): ~$600
6. Marketing - awareness campaign:
- targeted social media ads (FB/Twitter) - $100 per month, per 6 months $600
- Google search ads - $100 per month, per 6 months $600
- possible SEO consultations ~$250
- guest articles on external websites to gain traffic - free
Any remaining funds could be used as community incentives: creative contests (like new infographics), quizzes, lucky draws etc. Marketing campaign can also consume as much funding as we have to create maximum possible impact.

<u>KPIs:</u>
1. Amount of content originally created in Polish
2. Amount of content translated into Polish
3. Number of users that have joined local Cardano groups
<u>Definition of success:</u>
a) 1st month:
- setting up fully working website consisting of ~20 basic articles (batch of new pieces and those previously disseminated across forum.cardano.org) and current news
- signs of community growth
b) 3rd month:
- doubling the numbers on Telegram, tripling the numbers on Twitter
- website with over 50 high quality articles related to Cardano
- appearing in top 30 on Google under terms related to Cardano
c) 6th month:
- website with over 100 high quality articles related to Cardano
- 1st page on Google under term "Cardano"
- another x2 growth of social media pages
- trying to become self-sustainable and generate profits in order to keep (or even improve) the pace, through partnerships or other initiatives (dedicated local servers for stake pool are considered to support decentralization of Cardano network)
d) 1 year+, so post-Catalyst phase (included as a proof-of-dedication to make real long-term impact on local Cardano ecosystem):
- live meetups of our flourishing community (or earlier - see below!)
- video tutorials (available probably earlier)
- cooperation with developers (probably earlier as they are already in our community)
- developing into complete Polish Cardano Community Hub
