Detailed Plan
CardanoCube.io is already known within the Cardano community. Our mission is to make information more accessible by providing an overview of all projects and dApps built on Cardano. In the coming year, we are planning to expand into a large hub where people can find everything about Cardano.
Based on the feedback we are getting from the community and meetings we had with IOHK, this is what we plan to do if we would succeed at getting Catalyst funding.
Our goals
- We want to inform our community about upcoming ISPOs, pre-sales and public sales for all projects on Cardano Cube. This way our visitors will always be up to date about upcoming events.
- We also want to inform our visitors about the phase a certain project is in. This way our visitors can easily see if a project is live on the Mainnet, testing on the Testnet or still at a more conceptual stage.
- We will optimize the Cardano Ecosystem map by splitting utility projects from NFT art projects. By doing so our visitors will have a better overview of all projects on the Cardano Ecosystem Map.
- Continuously optimize features on the platform to adapt to the growing amount of Cardano projects. Making it easy for visitors to browse fast and easily through the large database of Cardano projects.
- Create a stake-pool environment on the Cardano Cube platform where visitors can see Cardano stake-pools and all necessary information. This way our visitors can easily connect with stake-pools that fit their goals and needs, for example charity, decentralization or performance. We will also partner up with a stakepool explorer platform to provide our visitors with more in-depth data.
- Create an educational environment where people new to Cardano can learn everything they need to know to get started. We will develop educational pages with topics like; What is Cardano? How to buy ADA? How to set up a wallet?
- Develop effective channels to communicate with project owners to improve the quality of data provided to our visitors.
- Market our platform outside of the “OG” Cardano community with targeted advertising. We want Cardano to grow, hence we need to spread to multiple social channels and connect with new audiences. We will expand our marketing presence on Twitter, Facebook, Reddit and LinkedIn.
Community feedback
Besides the list above, we will do continuous platform improvements based on community feedback. This to ensure we’re building a quality product that fits the need of the Cardano Community.
Why we need funding
Currently we are depending on promoted projects on our platform and this doesn’t cover the costs and efforts we put in to keep Cardano Cube running and available for everyone. We need the funding to continuously improve the platform and provide the best experience for our visitors.
At this moment Cardano Cube is a sole-proprietorship. With the number of visitors Cardano Cube has been witnessing (currently up to 75,000 unique visitors per month) and the ever-increasing project listings, it has become clear that this domain has a large scale potential.
Budget
It is necessary to gain funding of $45,000 to further develop the existing platform. With this funding we can actively scale up Cardano Cube for at least 1 full year. With the funding we can work full-time on different aspects of the platform:
- UX design
- Platform development (all features that we have listed above and more)
- Technical costs of the platform
- Improved multi-channel marketing strategy
- Project quality control
- All-round support for both project owners and our community.
Summary
In summary, Cardano Cube is trying to evolve as an information-based listing platform to provide the highest quality information to the Cardano community. And we will do this together with the community. We are in this for the long term, and the funding would help Cardano Cube to actively scale up for a period of at least 1 year.
