Our solution is a fully functional Cardano stake pool search website for both browser & mobile applications (IOS & Android). The site & mobile have in fact been fully operational for over 1 year now and continues to grow & adapt to the ecosystem. This site has been fully funded by the SPO team and has had no outside funding and does not use payed advertising on site to benefit the users.

The idea for PoolPeek.com was to provide a fairer selection process for SPO’s so that users to the site do not automatically see faulty rankings like Daedalus, who has made the most blocks or play favoritism to SPO’s that pay for features on their dashboard like other well known sites like Adapools.

There are many sites on Cardano that provide some features like PoolPeek.com but not many like ourselves actively try to help out and provide assistance, support & general help to promote SPO’s with the hopes of helping make them successful and ask for nothing in return.

We currently achieve this by including all stake pools and every time a user visits the sites and uses the Pool search tool all pools will continually be randomly generated to show as not to show favoritism. We have feedback from many that usually the first Stake pool they choose is from the first page display from the pool search websites.

We also provide a search wizard within the main website & mobile version that has specific questions asked to users from eliminate retired pools, choose larger or small pools, eliminate saturated pools etc etc. This allows us to try and educate the users at the source as they use the site and make them think about why they are choosing a stake pool, what criteria matters to them and to the ecosystem.

PoolPeek also has additional features like the map search where users can search based on the pools location, SPO alliances, ISPO’s features, integration of community wallets like CCvault & Nami or other features that continually get added based on user feedback & usage.

We foresee many challenges from : -

Appealing to new users and attracting users from other well known websites.

Maintaining new user & existing users through tools and features that are both useful and adaptive to the flows of the community.

Marketing to attract users to the site and educating them of the importance of selecting a Stake Pool.

[FEASIBILITY]

The feasibility of this site has already been proven through the fact that the site and mobile sites have been operational for over 1 year.

It has been tried & tested over this time many times through a large usage from the ISPO craze generated from SundaeSwap ISPO.

Through use of the ISPO we attained upwards of 3K users daily. We even assisted the SundaeSwap team through coordinated efforts of pool monitoring and sharing of metrics of stake being transferred to & from SS Scooper Stakepools.

We have requested an amount of 10K USD.

We envisage a 2-3 month time scale for completion which will consist of the following: -

Month 1 : -

Acquire bare metal server & upgrade current infrastructure : - 4,500.00 $

On board Software Engineer/Architect Specialist : - 3,000.00 $

On board Mobile integration specialist : - 2,000.00 $

On board Marketer/user solutions specialist : - 500.00 $

Output

Acquire equipment, co-ordinate team to align with project goals, KPI’s and time scales.

*We have allowed a month given the current climate and the ability source new electronic equipment and supply change shortages.

Month 2-3: -

Output

Transfer all site capability to new equipment, update existing capabilities, integrate mobile software & test.

*Reasons for the time scales for an already functional site is to allow for a seamless shift as to not effect or discourage existing users through rushed to launch applications.

PoolPeek has began providing a Medium post which will provide updates on progress monthly of all progress undertaken regarding the site from user usage, ideas being discussed, new tools being added or old tools being removed as the ecosystem grows.

A road map with clear goals and targets to be added to allow ourselves and users to track the projects progress.

We aim to improve our user/community feedback and track through customer experiences.

We have the ability to monitor basic usage of the site and record to track progress of new updates & tools added.

Success can be achieved from a few different aspect: -

Increase decentralization of site to avoid being cancelled from cloud host companies,

Help support SPO’s become more sustainable and provide them a platform to market & showcase their Stake Pools free of charge,

To help educate new users on the importance of selecting a Stake Pool and help make Cardano a healthy ecosystem for future generations,

Have the freedom and flexibility to be able to provide new tools & experiences that benefit new & existing users.
