The Social Movement Engine ("SME") is a comprehensive technology infrastructure, specifically designed to support conscious collaboration between individuals, groups, organizations, and consortiums of nations. This technology will draw upon all the latest developments in artificial intelligence and internet-based collaboration support, e.g. blockchain and Dapps. The Social Movement Engine system will allow for prototyping and testing all kinds of solutions and for their strategized deployment. This system will be available for free to all nations equally and accessible to all individuals, cultures, and nations equally. This approach to global transformation will allow the "votes" of every contributing person to be counted equally and applied effectively to generate real world results that have not been possible to attain in the past.

**While the SME is a solution to a larger problem of which national governance is one facet, for this challenge, the SME will be focused on implementation in <u>intra- and inter-governmental operations, coordination, planning, and strategic implementation of resource management and citizen activity, votes, and participation</u>. This means offering distributed, decentralized tools that allow citizen participation as well as 'central' visibility for and communication from governments, so that there is mutual exchange of information in a way that supports alignment, communication, synergy, and rapport between citizens and governments.**In terms of nation-building, implementing this from the ground up is a great opportunity to hit the right notes from the get-go.

We have a diverse team, including a neuroscience PhD, experienced IT professional, former operations/sales lead, global education expert, and public policy expert.

The team is led by Gabriel Axel Montes, PhD, neuroscientist and educator in the space of consciousness, cognition, governance, and leadership. Gabriel has worked for SingularityNET as Head of HR, has published academic articles with its founder, Dr. Ben Goertzel, and is spearheading new governance models for its community and other communities that focus on resolving the roots of human conflict and existential risk in the world.
