Pre-Funding Activity

We have been very busy at both Impact Web3 and Sustainable ADA. Over the last three years, we have been creating partnerships, and developing relationships to put together the puzzle pieces and create the Sustainable Blockchain4Good ecosystem and community we have been dreaming to create. From all of our research, evaluation, and learning we have set ourselves up for our next steps in our impact journey.

Post Funding Activity

Launching Impact Web3 - an ecosystem of products and tools that support one another in creating larger ripple effects of positive social and environmental impact.

Impact Web 3 is a company that is focused on building and managing decentralized technologies that enable positive impact and sustainability initiatives. The company oversees several key projects that work together to create a more sustainable and equitable world.

One of the primary projects under Impact Web3 is the Sustainable ADA platform. This platform is built on the Cardano blockchain and is designed to facilitate sustainable education and raise awareness about blockchain4good, and especially Cardano4Good initiatives. Through Sustainable ADA, Impact Web3 was born.

The aim of creating Impact Web3 is to provide more educational content to users, and bring to life our mission of creating disruptive positive impact around the world. All of our initiatives are focused on helping show the importance of prioritizing sustainability and regenerative web3 projects that solve actual real world problems.

Another project under Impact Web3 is the Domino DAO, which is a decentralized autonomous organization that aims to promote social and environmental impact through blockchain-based governance. The DAO is designed to allow community members to take part in the work of impact evaluation. As an impact evaluator and DAO member, you can propose new ideas and vote on initiatives that can help the platform create greater positive change in the world.

The Proof of Impact Project (PIP) is another key initiative under Impact Web 3. This project is focused on developing a platform that can verify and quantify the impact of sustainability projects, making it easier for investors and other stakeholders to assess the social and environmental impact of their investments.

This project works side by side with the Domino DAO to help connect our DAO community with an impact measurement framework, and pool of impact projects. We will be providing job opportunities and adding roles for community members who want to support or just are interested in earning a wage. By helping companies track, trace, and verify their impact.

We will be researching how to best create this DAO and integrating the first stage of development to move toward a completely decentralized impact community. In this first stage, we will be creating a Token for DAO members. This will be an NFT called the "Domino DAO Founders Pass". This will give members lifetime access to DAO activities. Over time we will allow for the burning and minting of the DAO Founder Passes and after we have created a pool of founders we will move into a New "Member DAO Pass". As we expand to larger groups of members and new opportunities. This will also allow us to test new tools and scale the community in a way where all members have a voice and we are able to support all impact investors and evaluations entering our ecosystem. We want the Domino DAO the perfect place to onboard new users to Cardano and we believe by taking the proper steps in expanding this community we will be able to effectively reach this goal. This will be an organic growth method and allow us to efficiently scale our community for success.

Our proposed solution, Impact Web3, directly addresses the challenge by focusing on building and managing decentralized technologies that enable positive impact and sustainability initiatives within the Cardano ecosystem. Through our various projects, we aim to create a comprehensive ecosystem and community that promotes sustainable education, impact measurement, and blockchain-based governance.

Firstly, our Sustainable ADA platform, built on the Cardano blockchain, plays a crucial role in raising awareness and providing educational content about blockchain4good, and especially Cardano4Good initiatives. With the funding, we plan to revamp the Sustainable ADA Educational Hub, expand educational content, including videos, courses in partnership with the Blockchain Learning Center, and even create a virtual metaverse educational experience in Virtua. These efforts will empower users to understand the importance of prioritizing sustainability in web3 projects and encourage broader adoption with real world positive impact.

Our Proof of Impact Project (PIP) focuses on developing a platform to verify and quantify the impact of sustainability projects. This platform will allow investors and stakeholders to assess the social and environmental impact of their investments more easily. With the funding, we will finalize the PIP platform, onboard our pilot project with our first NGO, create dynamic Proof of Impact NFTs, and develop an Impact Project Dashboard. These initiatives will provide transparency and accountability, making sustainable investing more accessible and attractive.

The Domino DAO, another project under Impact Web3, promotes social and environmental impact through blockchain-based governance. With the funding, we will establish a board, finalize the White Paper, build upon open access research to develop our learn-to-earn model, explore the use of the Andamio Platform, integrate voting tools, create onboarding information, and offer an Impact Evaluation PBL certification course. These efforts will enable community members to actively participate in evaluating and driving impactful initiatives.

We joined Project Catalyst, Cardano’s decentralized innovation fund, during fund 4. After applying and learning from both funds 4 and 5 along with lots of support from Cardano community members and teams, we were able to construct a strong proposal together that focused on our goals and ambitions for Sustainable ADA, and the Cardano community’s goals. We submitted a proposal focused on helping Grow Cardano, and Grow Africa.

With this funding, we had more capacity to focus on researching and sharing stories from change-makers in Africa and the diaspora, who are engaging with Cardano, creating a better tomorrow, today.

Thanks to the Cardano community and the use of their voting power from holding and staking ADA, we successfully secured the funding we were seeking. This helped us to take significant steps towards fulfilling our vision and mission having secured these crucial and helpful funds.

Through our time in the Project Catalyst ecosystem, we have been able to create a lot of strong and exciting partnerships with projects and businesses all across the world. This has led us to develop new ambitions for the work we do and to expand beyond education.

Experience and Expertise

The Sustainable ADA team has experience working with Figma, Canva, Wix, Final Cut Pro, Da Vinci Resolve 17, Adobe CC, Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc).

Sustainable ADA has experience and backgrounds in Sustainability, Economics, Humanities, Social Sciences. Along with work with NGOs, Social Enterprises, Freelance journalism, and blogging.

The team has been a part of the Cardano ecosystem since 2020 and is very dedicated to the Cardano ecosystem. We created Recalibrating Value, Identity & Impact Through the Blockchain: Cardano Impact Report 2023“.

The team also has undertaken the first of its kind Cardano Impact Report.

The Cardano Impact Report is a comprehensive publication that aims to capture and showcase the positive impact generated by the Cardano community. It is designed as a book NFT (Non-Fungible Token) to leverage the unique features of blockchain technology, ensuring authenticity, transparency, and immutability of the content.

[RESOURCES & VALUE FOR MONEY] How does the cost of the project represent value for money for the Cardano ecosystem?

The cost of the project represents value for money as it enables the creation of the Impact Web3 ecosystem. In turn, we will be able to bring groundbreaking tools to the Cardano ecosystem and bring more visibility and recognition of impactful projects building on Cardano. By investing in Impact Web3, and its umbrella of products and services, the community will gain access to valuable insights, collaboration opportunities, and inspiration to drive positive change.

The costs are justified and a modest ask given the average salaries for a graduate, and postgraduate researcher and Teacher in our sectors, and given our track record in and out of the Cardano community to date based out of USA (Salt Lake City), and western Europe (London and Paris).
