Problem Statement:

The Cardano community is growing significantly around the world, and such significant growth requires adequate communication tools that technological innovation offers us. Current communications are done through static and impersonal interfaces with limited capabilities media, such as Zoom, Youtube, Telegram, Twitter, Reddit, Discord, etc…There is currently no space that would provide an immersive and interactive experience of communication and networking for Cardano community meetings. The Cardano community doesn't have any interactive community center, where people could join, meet and network. Everyone has seen the success of the Cardano Summit, an event that provides opportunities to bound communities all around the world and creates a space for networking and connecting members. Such a networking event should not occur only once a year.

Describe your solution to the problem:

We believe that a solution could be provided by the Metaverse. We plan to call it a "MetaCenter", a representative virtual space where all members would feel proud to be part of the Cardano Community. The MetaCenter would be the right space for a superior and innovative experience for Cardano community meetings in the Metaverse. We believe that bringing Cardano Community to the Metaverse can provide a novel kind of experience that could create opportunities to bound members, build new friendships, share know-how and share the overall vision of the Cardano ecosystem by building a new metaverse society of web 3.0.

MetaCenter

The multifunctional building provides space for the community to organize from small events to large-scale events.

Catalyst Program

MetaCenter could be the perfect space for the Catalyst program to be deployed. Bringing Catalyst to the Metaverse could provide more entertainment and a more immersive experience of feeling to be part of the community.

Just the fact that Cardano would be one of the first crypto communities functioning in Metaverse could bring attention and increase adoption. It could accelerate and spread its vision to become a truly decentralized society.

This project involves cooperating with the established architecture studio Modest Artificials. Studio focusing on building modern houses, bars and clubs.

Partnering with the up-and-coming first architecture metaverse studio Space-Verse. Our team members are long time Cardano community members. We actively participate in Cardano community events. Seasoned Stake Pool Operator (SPOs) of the pool GREEN, powering Cardano since the Shelley launch, is also involved in the project and tying the community together. Our team has professional skills in VR technologies, Blockchain, Architecture and 3D modelling.

- buying XL parcel in a good location in Somnium space with potential for future expansion to its surrounding areas

- finalising the architecture model of the MetaCenter

February 2022

- Creating a schedule of the MetaCenter program

- Creating the social media communication channels to effectively share the program of the Center

March 2022 (tentative)

- Uploading the final building to Somnium Space

- MetaCenter reaches a fully functional phase, starting to accept our Cardano community members
